Celebrating Success at H&J Martin Academy! 🎓 We are thrilled to announce the successful graduation of our first cohort from the H&J Martin Academy! Michael, Leah, and Rachel have completed their NVQ Level 3 courses in Business Administration and are now thriving in their respective roles within various departments across the H&J Martin Group. Chris Reid, our Facilities Management Director and Chair of the H&J Martin Academy, shared his thoughts on this milestone event: "It's heartwarming to see this full circle moment with our first apprentices who have come through the H&J Martin Academy. This is why we created the academy, to support young individuals at the beginning of their journey, utilising the resources of our company to establish themselves and secure long-term positions within H&J Martin Group." Congratulations to our Minor Works team! Every quarter, H&J Martin Group seeks nominations across all companies in the group for those who take a proactive approach to health and safety by documenting strong case examples of stay safe protocols. These awards are a testament to the vigilance and proactive efforts of our staff onsite, who identify hazards and potential risks, taking preventative actions to ensure safety on our sites. A special shoutout to Aaron Kelly, Bernard Bateson, Mervyn Gray, and Sean O Reilly for their outstanding contributions and for winning their £25 vouchers. At H&J Martin Group, the health and safety of our staff and subcontractors is our top priority. It's fantastic to see our team members actively contributing to maintaining high safety standards across our various sites.

Today, we hosted a fantastic recruitment day for our latest Apprentice Quantity Surveyor role. This 5-year position offers on-the-job training, a competitive salary, and the opportunity to attend university, ultimately leading to a Chartered Quantity Surveyor qualification. We were thrilled to receive over 200 applications with more than 20 shortlisted candidates visiting our offices today for the recruitment day.   All of the candidates heard from our Company Directors, learned about the amazing benefits of working at H&J Martin Group and found out more about a future career as a Quantity Surveyor. They also participated in carefully crafted activities designed to showcase their problem-solving and teamwork skills.   At H&J Martin Group, we are passionate about Apprenticeships. That's one of the reasons why we established the H&J Martin Academy, in order to support the career growth of young professionals. A huge thank you to everyone who attended!
