We have completed the second training module for social entrepreneurship trainers at the STUDBIZ UKRAINE project! 🌵 🎓 The new training session focused on the practical work of trainers, in particular, in teams they learned how to develop the Impact business Canvas, prototype a business and transfer the skills they had gained to the coaching format. In addition, the School of ME trainers taught the principles of gamification of learning, which will help to adapt the “business topic” for teenagers! Very soon, the participants of the training modules will go to transfer their knowledge to the schools participating in the project. We are extremely happy and grateful to our partners, thanks to whom awareness of social school entrepreneurship is spreading across Ukraine! 🇺🇦

STUDBIZ. UKRAINE has started training for social entrepreneurship trainers! 🌵 🌟2 busy days in Kyiv, a lot of networking and knowledge! Trainers and mentors of the #STUDBIZ project met at a training module on social entrepreneurship in educational institutions and got to know each other for productive cooperation within the project! Why is this stage so important? These are the mentors and trainers who will accompany the social enterprises that will be created in the educational institutions of the project! Our task is to provide them with relevant and meaningful knowledge in this area🤝. During the module we found out: 🔹Who is involved in the launch and operation of social enterprises in educational institutions? The roles and interaction of students, curators, administration, parents and other stakeholders. 🔹What should be the ecosystem for the development of social entrepreneurship in educational institutions - opportunities, materials, stakeholders. 🔹What is a business canvas and how to manage the generation of viable business ideas 🔹What methods and features of teaching for adolescents are effective in the topic of joint ventures There was also our favorite section - ✨cases✨ of social enterprises in educational institutions in Ukraine and abroad! We thank all the participants and experts involved for this intense module! The project “Social student companies to support youth in (post-)war Ukraine” is being financed Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). ChildFund Deutschland is collaborating with the School of ME on the implementation of this project. #BMZ #DevelopmentCooperation #ChildFundDeutschland #education #youth #socialentrepreneurship

It will help: ✔️ consider entrepreneurship as an important phenomenon in society; ✔️ identify the main steps to organize and create a social enterprise in their institution ✔️ develop a business model and a plan to promote the enterprise; ✔️ to prepare the relevant documentation; ✔️ implement your own project in practice. We are confident that this step will open up great prospects for Ukrainian students and pupils 🙌🏻

Final roundtable within #STUDBIZ Ukraine at the Kyyivsʹka Misʹka Derzhavna Administratsiya ✔️ Together with the UMIND, we discussed the development of social entrepreneurship in vocational education institutions, which we are developing as part of the Studbiz Ukraine project. We shared our plans with the participants - the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the city administration, the Kyiv City State Administration and representatives of Kyiv vocational schools. We received valuable recommendations 🙌🏻 Now we can adapt all the practical materials that will be most useful in the realities of life and in the educational process. And most importantly, they will teach Ukrainian youth financial literacy, critical thinking and social responsibility! #BMZ, #DevelopmentCooperation #ChildFundDeutschland #education, #youth, #socialentrepreneurship

Together with our partners 🤝 UMIND, we held round tables in Myrohoshcha, Lviv, Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr! Together with educators, we talked about the development of social entrepreneurship in schools and vocational schools within #STUDBIZ Ukraine: How to motivate young people, engage them in social activity, teach financial literacy and innovation, develop lifelong learning skills, and much more. 🗣 “We managed to involve representatives of all stakeholders necessary for the implementation of social entrepreneurship in educational institutions. Among them are representatives of local authorities, administration of educational institutions, curators, and most importantly - the youth for whom we are doing all this. Now, having comments from the participants of the round table, we will make our materials as useful as possible,” said Artem Kornetskyy from School of ME. 🗣 “During the discussions, we were approached by representatives of educational institutions and students themselves who were really interested in the topic of social entrepreneurship. Therefore, as a team of the NGO UMIND, we will make even more efforts to develop the project, involve as many young people as possible and popularize social entrepreneurship in Ukraine,” Olena Levandovska from UMIND #BMZ, #DevelopmentCooperation #ChildFundDeutschland #education, #youth, #socialentrepreneurship

📢 REDpreneurUA: From Dream to Real Business On 21 February, the participants of the first cohort of the REDpreneurUA programme, in partnership with School of ME, took a significant step towards achieving their entrepreneurial goals — presenting their final business plans and receiving grant support. ℹ REDpreneurUA is not just a training programme but a driving force for change, helping people affected by the war start their own businesses and contribute to Ukraine's economic recovery. Over the next two years, around 70 business projects will receive funding of between €5,000 and €15,000, as well as expert support. The initiative is being implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross (Österreichisches Rotes Kreuz) and with the support of the Neighbour in Need Foundation (Austria). This programme is part of the REDpreneur international franchise, which empowers small and micro businesses, contributing to the country’s economic growth. Participants of the first cohort — representatives of vulnerable groups — received comprehensive support at all stages of starting their own businesses. The programme included: ✅ Personalised training plans ✅ Mentoring support from experts ✅ Online courses and practical sessions ✅ Networking opportunities and experience exchange ✅ Motivational sessions with successful entrepreneurs A special emphasis was placed on social entrepreneurship, a business model that not only generates profit but also addresses important social issues. Participants developed projects aimed at creating jobs and developing local communities. Twenty-four impressive business ideas have successfully completed the REDpreneurUA: Business Skills and Entrepreneurship Development training programme, with 17 of them receiving grant support. The funded businesses feature a range of creative and impactful ideas, from educational games for children 👶🎮 to therapeutic horseback riding 🐎 and artisanal cheese production 🧀. Other initiatives include organic farming 🌱, grain milling, handmade candles 🕯, and upcycled clothing ♻👗. Several businesses aim to contribute to local economies, with projects ranging from craft bakeries 🍞 to furniture production 🪑. These ventures are fostering social change and resilience in challenging times. REDpreneurUA continues its journey!
