When I think about Ukraine’s resilience and recovery, I think about people. People who start / continue businesses not despite the challenges — but because they believe in their communities, their teams, and the future we can build together. 👥 That’s what impact entrepreneurship means to me. It’s about solving problems, creating opportunities, engaging others in meaningful work, and showing that especially in times of war we need to scale solutions that matter. At the Ukrainian Social Venture Fund, we proud to work with entrepreneurs who are doing exactly that. Their stories are at the heart of a new report: 📘 Impact Entrepreneurship and Investment for Ukraine’s Recovery. 📌 On April 3rd, we’ll dive deeper into these insights during the official online launch of the report. I’ll be speaking in the panel discussion “Unlocking the Potential of Impact Entrepreneurship in Ukraine” alongside inspiring colleagues from Greencubator Impact Force , 🇺🇦 Promprylad Foundation and The Possible . Together, we’ll explore: 🌀 How Ukrainian businesses are navigating wartime realities 🌀 How we scale impact in the midst of uncertainty 🌀 What’s needed to unlock more capital and systemic support for purpose-driven founders 🗓 Date: April 3 🕙 Time: 11:00–13:00 (Kyiv time) 🌐 Format: Online (Zoom, in English) 📥 Register here: https://lnkd.in/eQKaDpaN If you care about values-based entrepreneurship, resilient economies, and practical pathways to long-term recovery — I warmly invite you to join us.

Ukraine has a huge potential in the field of social entrepreneurship 🇩🇪🇺🇦 This fact was once again confirmed during a three-day networking trip to Munich organized by the Ukrainian Social Venture Fund in partnership with The Platform for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, UnternehmerTUM and The Fraunhofer Future Foundation. 👥10 Ukrainian impact-oriented businesses spent a busy day at Munich Urban Colab, one of the most powerful innovation hubs in Europe, where they presented their projects, networked with German partners, and discussed potential areas of cooperation. 🏢During the trip, the participants also visited the Fraunhofer Institute, where they got acquainted with advanced technical innovations, as well as learned about the work of the COLAB accelerator and Fraunhofer Venture initiatives aimed at supporting high-tech startups. They also had the opportunity to study the experience of the BMW Herbert Quandt Foundation in supporting social initiatives and impact investing. This year's trip was a pilot project that laid the foundation for further initiatives. In 2025, a second visit is planned, during which representatives of German companies will come to Ukraine. The trip has become an important signal to the international community that Ukraine is a country that is not only heroically defending itself, but is also actively seeking technological solutions for reconstruction and developing new innovative approaches. 🗯 “Ukrainians demonstrate extraordinary speed and adaptability in addressing challenges. This trip showed us how much can be achieved by going beyond our own experience and joining forces to find common solutions,” one of the participants shared her impressions. 🤝We are sincerely grateful to our partners who made this initiative possible. 👉If your business is interested in cooperating with German partners, we invite you to fill out a short questionnaire at the following link: https://lnkd.in/dFdzW8Km . Social entrepreneurship is a step towards a future where Ukraine becomes a symbol of recovery, sustainability and innovation. Together we are creating a new reality where social innovation becomes a tool for sustainable development! 📌The trip was funded by Plattform Wiederaufbau Ukraine.
