There’s no master plan in #caregiving. When my mother had Parkinson’s, I found comfort in simple moments — like picking up her favorite food from Ghim Moh market and just sitting with her, reminiscing about the good old days. To all professionals and caregivers out there — you’re not alone. NTUC will walk alongside you, together with NTUC Health and other agencies, to support you on your journey. Caregiving has its pressures, but also so many small joys in being there for the ones we love. Take care and keep going. #EveryWorkerMatters National Trades Union Congress (NTUC)

Labour Movement in Action – In this first of a new series, NTUC Deputy Secretary-General Desmond Tan shared how the NTUC’s Company Training Committees (CTCs) have benefited over 7,400 workers, including PMEs, with wage increases, career pathways and skill allowances. With the $200 million boost announced in #SGBudget2025, more workers will soon benefit! #EveryWorkerMatters #NTUCCares
👀 Three ways the $200 million boost from #SGBudget2025 will benefit workers! I’ve been championing National Trades Union Congress (NTUC)‘s Company Training Committees (CTCs) for some time now, and it’s rewarding to witness its positive impact on our workers. Thanks to the CTC Grant, over 7,400 workers could benefit from an average wage increase of 5% above their annual increment, structured career pathways through Career Development Plan or skills allowances. 📈 This is just the start of what’s to come. With the $200 mil boost, we can do more for our workers and companies! I’ll continue driving CTCs to benefit more workers, whether they’re part of a company or a cluster of companies. Let’s continue to make a difference to workers’ lives and livelihoods! ❤️ #NTUC #CompanyTrainingCommittee #CTC #EveryWorkerMatters #NTUCCares

We’re excited to share that TADA Singapore is the 3rd platform operator to have officially recognised associations such as the National Private Hire Vehicles Association (NPHVA) as the representative body for its platform drivers under the Platform Workers Act. With Grab and ComfortDelGro (CDG) already onboard, the addition of TADA is a positive step forward in ensuring stronger representation for platform workers. This recognition strengthens NPHVA’s ability to advocate for platform workers on key issues such as earnings, working conditions, and overall well-being. It also builds on the partnership between TADA and NPHVA, which has already delivered initiatives like driver appreciation events and membership sponsorships. Beyond this, TADA is taking steps to enhance accessibility for elderly riders, ensuring a smoother and safer ride experience. This partnership and collaboration initiatives will create better earning opportunities while fostering a more inclusive transport ecosystem. At NTUC, we remain committed to championing every worker’s interests—because #EveryWorkerMatters. Read more: https://bit.ly/41YngVr

It’s been a while since I last visited Mt. Faber and wow, it’s been through some fresh changes! (Note to self – must bring the wife there for a date). It’s also not every day that you get to meet someone who has worked over 40 years in the same company. Inspiring to learn that Mr Woo has been key to some of the enhancements to the cable car cabins you see today. Great to see the joint efforts of Mount Faber Leisure Group and AREU (Attractions, Resorts & Entertainment Union) to improve training, welfare and most importantly workers salaries! For professionals in attractions, resorts, and entertainment, I encourage you to join AREU and be part of this journey. #EveryWorkerMatters Buhdy Bok Mount Faber Leisure Group National Trades Union Congress (NTUC)
