  • If you haven’t already heard, InvestorIQ Service is your new digital sales analyst 🤖 We had a great time demoing it last week at Impact Summit Europe, receiving plenty of positive feedback. Fund Managers at the event were genuinely interested in how AI can support their workflows. We showed them how InvestorIQ surfaces leads that match their strategies. The accuracy actually surprised a few people 😲 Some enjoyed about how “smart” it felt, especially in the impact space, which tends to lean more traditional. 📈 Others were happy to discover investors they hadn’t seen before. ⚡ Most of all, people loved how fast and reliable it was — no more trawling through databases. Just high-quality, tailored leads at your fingertips. If you're curious, book your demo with the team here 👉https://hubs.li/Q03gk9m00

  • ⭐We're estimating that €701 billion has been raised by impact funds since 2015—representing a 160% growth. There has been a 28% increase in total target size for impact funds in the past year, now at €377 billion. However, the average target size of impact funds has decreased by 11.8%, now at €345 million. 🌎 Our annual 'Impact Fund Universe Report: An impact investing market map for institutional investors' was released at #ImpactSummitEurope 2025 this week and is now available for download! 🌱The report also contains an industry interview with Gilde Healthcare. We spoke to Partner David de Graaf and Head of Responsible Investment Dr. Stephanie Mooij, about the next phase of building out the impactful Gilde Healthcare platform as they prepare to launch a new lower mid-market private equity fund focused on climate solutions. 💬Our CEO Dirk Meuleman talks about impact investing and its importance in an increasingly uncertain world and our new Investor IQ Service. “I believe it is a game changer for fund managers looking to raise capital for their impact fund. It helps to identify the most likely prospects for a specific fund, based on our unique proprietary datasets that cover more than 1,800 asset owners with active impact programmes,” says Mueleman. • That's a wrap on #ImpactSummitEurope 2025! Here's how day two finished up: We heard from Phenix's Simon Van Veen, who interviewed Cathelijne Broers, (het Cultuurfonds) and Carlien Blok (Hortus Botanicus). They shared their impact loan fund example, with a focus on sustainability, culture and education. ____________________________________________________________________ Next we explored the nature finance funding gap. Suzanne Rosman (PYM) moderated this session and was joined by Anita de Horde (Finance for Biodiversity Foundation), Aaron Vermeulen (WWF International) and Gemma Roex (Phenix Capital Group) They explored why nature is a crucial pillar in addressing climate change, alongside renewable energy and sustainable food systems.  ____________________________________________________________________ Our last session of the day was an interactive discussion around 'survival of the fittest' Phenix's Prachi Modi joined Elizabeth Clark (University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership) for this discussion which explored competitive sustainability—a bold new framework that challenges outdated corporate sustainability models and positions businesses to thrive in a rapidly changing economy. Elizabeth made the point that many businesses can’t future proof themselves in broken markets – markets must be redesigned. "We are competing now in an age of transformation". The audience also interacted with this topic, with one member sharing "in some ways it (competitiveness) makes me anxious. As long as it doesn’t lead to reduction in collaboration, then it’s ok". ____________________________________________________________________ We'll leave you with the last words from our COO Chantal Hermans-Polman during her closing address "Challenge the outdated assumptions. Close the gaps between intention and action. Lead with transparency. Partner boldly and step in where others have stepped back". Thank you to everyone who attended, our partners & sponsors, for an insightful two days of discussion. We look forward to welcoming you all back next year at Impact Summit Europe 2026!

  • The results are in from THE BIG IMPACT DEBATE! First up was Laure Wessemius-Chibrac (Netherlands Advisory Board on Impact Investing) vs. Hans Stegeman (Triodos Bank) who debated whether or not investors should step in where governments fall short. "Until the government is set up all we can do is triage, and triage is not transformation,"' argued Hans. However it was Laure who successfully won the debate, who shared her perspective that it's their duty to step in and a proactive stance is already being taken. "It's not just about doing things right, it's about doing the right things". ____________________________________________________________________ Next up was Robert A Schultz (Capricorn Investment Group) vs. Cecilia Pessanha (COFRA) who debated whether or not the source of capital is equally as important as the use of capital. "let's look forward, not backwards," argued Robert, who said all money was bad at one time and what matters now is what good the new generation are repurposing it for. However Cecilia commanded the support of the room with her stance "some people like to eat really well and sleep really well. I like to sleep really well". Thank you to Piet Klop for taking the lead and moderating the heated debates! That's it for day one of #ImpactSummitEurope - thank you to everyone who joined today. We'll be back tomorrow with more updates! (DISCLAIMER: These are not personal opinions, participants were tasked with arguing 'for' or 'against')
