Today Gilde Healthcare portfolio company SpliceBio announces the dosing of the first patient with its first-in-class Dual-AAV Gene Therapy for Stargardt disease. Its drug candidate SB007 has been designed to address the root cause of Stargardt disease with the potential to treat all patients across all ABCA4 mutations.
