🚧 With the breakthrough of the final diaphragm, excavation has been completed on the Telese tunnel (Frasso Telesino – Telese section) and the Reventa tunnel (Telese - Vitulano section) of the new High Speed/High-Capacity Naples – Bari railway line. The new High Speed/High-Capacity Naples – Bari line is part of the European TEN-T Scandinavian – Mediterranean Corridor. 👀 Looking back at #2024 on ETP 🎉 The Sydney Metro - Pyrmont Station site has seen dramatic transformations, both above and below ground, with two acoustic sheds now in place, and excavation of the East and West shafts progressing well. Roadheaders Liliana, Savannah and Bella are currently chewing through the station cavern, which will be 18 metres high, 24 metres wide and 170 metres long. 🧐 Fun fact – the roadheaders at Pyrmont have all been named after daughters of three of our team members. As we close the chapter on precast production for the Sydney Metro West - Eastern Tunnelling Package, we take a moment to reflect on an incredible journey. From the casting of our very first segment in 2024 at the Eastern Creek Precast Facility to just this month where we made the final segment needed to line our ETP tunnels - our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to produce over 16,000 high quality segments. Just like our team always say - 'our tunnels start from our Precast facility'. We wouldn't have a tunnel without these segments. 🚆🔨 March 30 marks an important anniversary for the Brenner Base Tunnel project. 🗓️ On March 30, 2023, the tunnel boring machine "Virginia" reached the Brenner State border, after 4 years and 14 km of excavation of the main eastern tunnel heading north in the H61 Mules construction site. 🚀👷♂️Today, in the same construction site, mechanized excavation is now almost complete: TBM Flavia, which is excavating the main western tunnel heading north, is less than 200 meters from the State border. 🚨 Breakthrough Alert on Watercare Services Limited’s #Central #Interceptor! 🎉 Our #Tunnel #Boring #Machine, Hiwa-i-te-Rangi, has completed her incredible journey — breaking through the bottom of a 30m deep shaft at Point Erin Reserve, Herne Bay. This marks the final breakthrough on New Zealand’s longest wastewater tunnel!
