We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Skilling Centres (DOJO Centres) at our manufacturing units. This week the Athena Skill Hubs (DOJO Centres) at our Andhra Pradesh and Chennai facilities, and Visual Inspection DOJO Centre at Vadodara Plant, were inaugurated by Neeraj Kanwar. DOJO, a Japanese word, refers to ‘a hall or place for immersive learning, experiential learning or meditation’, and has often been used in the context of martial arts. The Athena Skill Hubs at our plants, are our DOJO Centres, dedicated for hands-on, experiential learning space that simulates real shopfloor scenarios. It allows our frontline teams to undergo immersive, practical training in a controlled environment before stepping into live operations. These Athena Skills Hubs are powered by VR/AR technologies, Experiential Learning Zones for hands-on skilling, and Acoustic Training Halls for engaging in a high-impact instructor-led sessions, not only for developing generic manufacturing skills and behaviours, but also process specific skills. This will aid our skilling journey: 1.   By accelerating skilling and onboarding of shopfloor members with a consistent skill baseline 2.   By embedding a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement 3.   By reducing line downtime due to avoidable errors Kudos to the cross-functional teams from HR, Manufacturing and Quality for bringing this vision to life. #ApolloTyres #GoTheDistance #DOJO #Skilling

Join us on World TB Day as we come together to raise awareness about the profound health, social and economic impacts of tuberculosis (TB), and to enhance efforts to eradicate this global epidemic. Apollo Tyres Foundation (ATF) stands firm in its commitment to uplift the trucking community by fostering a robust and supportive ecosystem. Each year, we host the impactful TB-Free campaign at 34 key transhipment locations across 21 states in India. This year marks the 9th edition of our campaign, dedicated to identifying and treating active TB cases. Since 2017, this initiative has been at the forefront of the fight against TB, aiming not only to raise awareness, but also to identify individuals at risk, facilitate testing, and ensure that confirmed cases receive essential nutrition support from ATF and medical advice and treatment through DOTS centres. To date, the program has reached over 1,796,759 beneficiaries and have conducted over 62,014 TB tests, diagnosing approximately 1,540 individuals with TB and linking 1,345 to vital DOTS treatment. #ApolloTyres #GoTheDistance #EndTB #WorldTBDay
