Join us on World TB Day as we come together to raise awareness about the profound health, social and economic impacts of tuberculosis (TB), and to enhance efforts to eradicate this global epidemic. Apollo Tyres Foundation (ATF) stands firm in its commitment to uplift the trucking community by fostering a robust and supportive ecosystem. Each year, we host the impactful TB-Free campaign at 34 key transhipment locations across 21 states in India. This year marks the 9th edition of our campaign, dedicated to identifying and treating active TB cases. Since 2017, this initiative has been at the forefront of the fight against TB, aiming not only to raise awareness, but also to identify individuals at risk, facilitate testing, and ensure that confirmed cases receive essential nutrition support from ATF and medical advice and treatment through DOTS centres. To date, the program has reached over 1,796,759 beneficiaries and have conducted over 62,014 TB tests, diagnosing approximately 1,540 individuals with TB and linking 1,345 to vital DOTS treatment. #ApolloTyres #GoTheDistance #EndTB #WorldTBDay
