Lovely to see our Irish entrepreneurs giving back to mentor and guide the next generation of entrepreneurs and industry leaders in DCU Business School ..
Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of joining the panel of Dragons at the DCU Business School Dragons’ Den, where over 300 students presented the ventures they’ve been shaping over the past few months as part of the New Enterprise Development (NED) module. What stood out? The clarity. The confidence. The creativity. Each pitch reflected deep thought, collaboration, and a genuine drive to solve real-world problems. As professionals, we often speak about the future of business. Well—this was it, in motion. Young minds transforming classroom learning into entrepreneurial action. It was a privilege to contribute, to ask challenging questions, and to witness first-hand the next generation of business leaders in action-especially meaningful for me as a DCU Alumni, now returning in a completely different role. Even more rewarding to do so alongside brilliant fellow Dragons such as Gavin Cooney, Ronan Morris, Shane O'Sullivan CDir, CBD, Liavan Mallin and Kevin Redmond. Congratulations to Eric Clinton, Claire Whelehan, Jennifer Hoey and everyone at Dublin City University involved in designing such an impactful programme, and to all the students: keep building, keep questioning, keep pushing forward. And this comes at a time when, at The Ardonagh Group, we’re enhancing our commitment to Ireland—strengthening our footprint in Data Analytics and Innovation through our growing Ardonagh Analytics Lab in Mullingar, a cornerstone of what’s ahead for the newly incorporated Ardonagh Intelligence. We’ve never had a greater need for access to new talent and innovative thinking. What I witnessed at DCU last week could not be more aligned with that vision. The future looks bright. #BusinessDCU #DragonsDen #Entrepreneurship #Innovation #IndustryEngagement #StudentEnterprise #BusinessEducation #LeadershipDevelopment #DCUalumni
