Thank you so much! We look forward to continuing our fruitful research collaboration!
Strengthening innovation through collaboration. Last week, DITF received a generous #donation from Saurer Group – an #Autoairo air spinning station consisting of 6 units. During the development of the Autoairo air spinning machine, the Deutsche Institute für Textil- und Faserforschung Denkendorf (DITF) supported the Saurer Group with valuable research expertise. In appreciation, Dr Simon Küppers, Technology and Innovation Manager at Saurer Group, symbolically handed over a donation plaque to Professor Götz T. Gresser, DITF board member. This act expresses a successful and collaborative partnership in textile innovation. Professor Gresser shared his pride: "With the six-spindle Autoairo station, our spinning department is now complete. We're very grateful for this donation. Supporting the development of air spinning technology is a project close to my heart - my last job in industry before joining DITF was to develop an air spinning machine." The Spinning Department for Staple Fibre Technology at DITF is headed by Stephan Baz, who commented: "We at DITF were very impressed that Saurer had completed the development of the machine in such a remarkably short time. That's an impressive achievement." This is a great example of how industry and research are working together to advance textile technology. #Innovation #TextileTechnology #Collaboration #AirSpinning #Autoairo Sabine Keller, Stephan Baz, Dr. Tai Mac, Waltraud Jansen, Franziska Wächter, Pia Terasa
