💪 “I’m already growing… from technician to junior engineer.” In our third post celebrating International Women’s Day and Women's History Month, we shine a light on Nextracker team member, Ramony Amelia Cordeiro Semoes— whose career is on an inspiring upward trajectory in Brazil! Finding it hard to secure local work as an engineer after graduating college, Ramony spent years as a dedicated (and beloved) elementary school teacher. With Elera Renováveis and Nextracker's ‘Women in Solar’ training course, taught at a school in Ramony's hometown of Quem Quem, today she is able to finally exercise her degree at the local PV plant, and help generate wealth and jobs for the surrounding community.
