Longroad is committed to minimizing our environmental impact as we responsibly harness wind and solar energy. For every project we conduct a wildlife and habitat assessment, and implement strategies to reduce wildlife risk and identify means for providing ecological benefits. Additionally we fund environmental research to advance innovative techniques that support biodiversity and sustainability goals. We were thrilled to see our work to help protect the Western Burrowing Owl in Arizona mentioned in the March 2025 edition of the National Geographic. At a large solar complex in Maricopa County, we’ve set aside considerable acreage to preserve habitat for owls and many other species. We also are funding research on effective relocation strategies to help reestablish owl populations in desert areas adjacent to solar farms. The owl relocation and research is being conducted by Wild at Heart, a raptor rescue and rehabilitation organization that has more than 20 years of experience working with owls. Nine years ago, we started with a vision. Today, that vision has grown into real, measurable impact: ✅ 6.0 GW of renewable energy projects developed and acquired across the U.S. ✅ 4.1 GW of wind, solar, and storage projects owned and operated ✅ $15.2 billion in equity, debt, and tax equity secured None of this would be possible without our incredible Longroad team, alumni, and partners. Across corporate and home offices, project sites, and every U.S. time zone — from Maine to Hawaii — you have worked with passion and dedication to build a greener future. Your efforts have created jobs, strengthened communities, and delivered lasting change. Thank you for being part of this journey. We’re proud of what we’ve built together — and we can’t wait to see what’s next! #LongroadAnniversary #RenewableEnergy #Teamwork #LifeatLongroad #solarpower #solarenergy #windenergy #windpower #valuesdriven #greenfuture

Longroad has been active in the Solar Energy Industries Association's (SEIA) Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice (DEIJ) program since its founding. We are proud to share that we have achieved Gold Certification for our DEI efforts, advancing from the Silver Certification we received in 2022 and 2023. The SEIA DEIJ program was designed using its Diversity Best Practices Guide and other evidence-based materials and evaluates companies making progress and taking actionable steps toward DEIJ. Being inclusive is a key element of Longroad’s SHINE values. We are delighted to see our efforts, especially the growth of our two Employee Resource Groups focused on women and BIPOC Longroaders and their allies, recognized and highlighted by both SEIA and by The Rise Journey in its recent State of the ERG 2024 benchmarking report.
