As Women’s History Month winds to a close we want to take a moment to applaud all the amazing women leading in the renewable energy space. 👏👏👏 Twenty five percent of the top leaders on the Cypress Creek team are women, starting at the very top with our CEO, Sarah Slusser. Sarah sets the vision and strategy for our company, leading by example in a male-dominated field with strength, experience, optimism and a sense of humor. We are grateful for and inspired by the incredible women on our team and in our industry who are building a sustainable future with us. https://lnkd.in/e2xNHQrV

Just finished an incredible and rewarding Kaizen week with our extended CCS team in Durham! Over 80 team members came together to tackle key challenges and uncover opportunities for our customers and the CCR fleet. Couldn’t have asked for a better group to collaborate and problem-solve with. The week was even more impactful with insightful leadership discussions led by Brian Case and Tim Fredericksen, along with great conversations with colleagues from across the business. Excited to see the momentum continue! #Kaizen #ContinuousImprovement #Teamwork

We are thrilled to announce today that nearly 100 of our team members have been promoted and/or rotated to new roles in the company! Each person on this list has made vital contributions to advancing our company to be a top solar and storage developer, owner and operator which would not be possible without this team’s contributions. Importantly, each individual also embodies our shared values of Care, Courage, Creativity, Conviction and Collaboration. Achieving our goals is critical, but how we achieve them is just as important, which is why our values matter. Please join us in congratulating each and every one of them, as we work together to power a sustainable future, one project at a time. https://lnkd.in/e3EsgY6q

This Women’s History Month we were honored to offer a special EMPOWER virtual workshop to our team with Foram Sheth and women-owned Ama La Vida coaching. Hosted by our Cypress Creek Solar Ladies affinity group, team members of all gender identities were given practical tools and actionable strategies to take control of their professional development and create positive change in our workplace. At Cypress Creek we seek to continuously improve in all aspects of our business and commend our team for seizing opportunities like this one for our collaboration to create something greater than the sum of its parts. Thank you to our coaches and our team for an inspiring session!

NEW: Today, SEIA is setting a new target for U.S. energy storage deployment: ⚡700 gigawatt-hours of total installed capacity, and 🔋10 million distributed storage installations. “Expanding energy storage capacity is a crucial means of ensuring our nation’s energy security and resilience," — SEIA president and CEO Abby Hopper “As demand for energy soars, storage helps turn quick-to-build, low-cost solar generation into clean, dispatchable power, ensuring our grid can adapt to challenges, support critical infrastructure, and deliver reliable power to every community.” Our economic and energy security depends a strong storage sector.
