Our Research Initiative for Self-Care Equity (RISE) has shown how deep these issues run, especially where resources are scarce. The research indicates that the effects of pain extend beyond individuals; for example, children whose fathers hold low-income jobs are four times more likely to experience episodic headaches. We are using these insights to leverage science and innovation to expand access to everyday health for billions of people. Take Aspirin, for example - it's an accessible way to relieve headaches, and other body pains, no matter where you are in the world.   • We are proud to announce that we have reached 73 million people in economically or medically underserved communities with our self-care solutions in 2024! This achievement is a significant step towards our objective of reaching 100 million people by 2030. At Bayer, we recognize that over half of the world’s population lacks access to basic medical care. That’s why we are continuously innovating our solutions to meet the diverse medical, pricing, channel and health education needs of underserved communities. We also remain on track towards our environment targets. Nearly half of the patients experience moderate to severe symptoms that current available remedies may not adequately alleviate. To address this issue, #TeamBayer introduced the Clarityne Mometasone Intranasal Spray in China for the first time following its successful launch in the LATAM region last year.✨🚀 Our journey began with a fresh approach. Instead of adhering to the traditional global core team structure, we formed an agile team composed of both global and local leaders. This reimagined collaboration facilitated smooth communication, dismantled barriers, and expedited our processes.
