Every dollar invested in family planning could generate USD 120 in benefits! Foreign Policy just launched a special report with support from Bayer titled: Family Planning for a Prosperous Future. The report examines global, regional, and national trends for Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) policy, identifies variances in access, and offers scalable recommendations on how to address disparities in care. Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) represents a cornerstone in global health and in driving progress in sustainable development. Investment in SRHR yields significant and manifold returns. It is estimated that each dollar invested in family planning could generate USD 120 in benefits. In recent years, progress in furthering family planning and reproductive health has slowed. Complex crises and an ever-growing funding gap are exacerbating disparities. Urgent action from all relevant stakeholders is critical! Investment in policies, partnerships, and innovations to strengthen reproductive healthcare and end unmet needs is critical for sustainable development.
