🔬 Where does science end and art begin? Sometimes, the most fascinating work happens right at that boundary. 🖌️ Last week we spent time building bridges with academic partners as we explored this question delving into the beauty and complexity of liquid interfaces. On Monday, we had the pleasure of hosting Prof. Steffen Hardt, Ms. Lisa Bauer,  Mr. Steffen Bißwanger from Technische Universität Darmstadt. It was a rich exchange of ideas around fluid mechanics and electrokinetics, and an opportunity to showcase our technology and find new points of connection. Then on Tuesday and Wednesday, we had a fantastic time at "The Art and Science of Liquid Interfaces" symposium, where Gaurav Singh and Alexandra Lyons presented our work, and Dr. Federico Paratore chaired a scientific session. This special event brought together scientists and artists passionate about the fluid mechanics of liquid interfaces, creating an inspiring atmosphere for engaging discussions. A huge thank you to Prof. Moran Bercovici and Prof. Lucio Isa for organizing this outstanding event, and to the Collegium Helveticum for hosting it!   #FluidInterfaces #ArtAndScience #MembranelessRFB #RFBs #EnergyStorage #migrospioneerfund

🌍 Strengthening Cross-Border Collaborations 🌍 This week at Unbound Potential has been all about expanding our global partnerships beyond Switzerland. 🚀 CEO David Taylor and CTO Anetta Platek-Mielczarek, Dr. Eng. have been travelling through California, connecting with key collaborators from Los Angeles to San Francisco. The U.S. remains a powerhouse for electrolyte innovation, and still a great example of within-industry collaboration, crucial for staying ahead of the game. 💡 Meanwhile, CBO Pier Giuseppe Rivano and CFO Emilio Dal Re , invited by SpinLab - The HHL Accelerator, represented UP at the Start Up Energy Transition (SET Tech Festival) in Berlin, expanding the network of potential investors and commercial partners. Keynotes from the World Energy Council and the European Investment Bank (EIB) underscored once more the importance of financing breakthrough hardware technologies in the clean tech space such as ours. The massive European Clean Industrial Deal approved by the European Commission just a few weeks ago is a testament to this. 📖 Paper announcement! 📖 We are happy to share that we have successfully published together with our collaborators from IMDEA Energy a proof-of-concept paper in APL Energy: "Membrane-free redox flow battery: From the idea to the market."   We are excited to collaborate with researchers from IMDEA Energy, a leading institute in membrane-less system development, under the close supervision of REBECA MARCILLA, Paula Navalpotro Molina and Jesus Palma. Technology development and scaling up require a different approach than academic research.
