Our lab is an environment where ideas incubate, projects are born, and new ideas change the world. We grow stars from giving support to young innovators. Congrats to the Readility team!
We’ve spent the last year building something no one asked for but everyone will want. After months of testing, late nights, and couple of technical meltdowns, I’m proud to share: Readality A new #VR and #AR platform that lets you read comics like holding a physical book, but inside a headset. Most of the AR/VR world is built for gamers. We’re not. We’re focused on readers. 📖 Physical books are expensive and hard to access. 📲 Digital books are cheap but not as enjoyable to read. So we built something new. A digital book that feels physical : affordable, immersive, and always within reach. But we didn’t stop there. To compete with animes, games, and other digital storytelling formats, we also designed immersive reading spaces and optional augmented features ; creating a whole new reading experience. We're launching our beta on the Meta Quest Store this summer for Quest 2, 3, and 3S users. If you’re a publisher, artist, or just curious about spatial reading, join the Readality community and get in touch! We didn’t build an app. We created a new reality: spatial reading. Huge thanks to my team Mohammed Haj Omar, Oleksiy Savytskyy, Maya Marshel, Alessandro Dare, David Perron, Alex Sutherland and #AnthonyBourgeois. Grateful to Tarik Boukhalfi for his expertise and Ann-Louise Davidson 🇨🇦 for making all this possible. Also, a big thank you to Editions Les 400 coups for their trust!
