⚪ 🔴 ⚪ Eurogas held today a webinar for our members to explore the 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗡𝗚 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.   🔎 Obtaining and deploying 𝗟𝗡𝗚 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. ✅ 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀. 🔎 This idea has already been introduced in various Member States, and gives consumers the option to buy 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 that demonstrate the origin and sustainability of the gas that is used. 🔦 It is important to discuss this solution 𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻'𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 to support Member States to prepare for the implementation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) and the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED). 📈 To make green contracts a reality, Member States should support the increase of biogas and biomethane production, at least at first, by 𝗰𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗮𝗽𝗲 and 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀. 🟢 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸. 🔦 As another organisation that values evidence-based dialogue about the use of gaseous fuels, this new research paper by the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies represents an interesting approach to achieving our shared goals! ⭐ 𝗚𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 in the the decarbonisation of the energy sector by contributing to a resilient and affordable transition!
