Our focus includes companies with technologies that improve AI performance and companies with hardware applications, including robotics, computer vision, sensor networks and drones. We also look generally at companies that have new, AI-enabled business models that are transforming industries and addressing global problems - 80% of our capital will be deployed in Australia. Australian AI is World Class. The universities are amongst the very best and the are many excellent start up companies and inspiring founders. These companies often receive large non-dilutionary grants & rebates. InterValley places significant importance on the character, values and ambitions of the Founders it works with - seeking a collaborative partnership approach in its investments. The AI^Human fund is globally backed by Japanese & other firms who are providing a combined anchor of $A30M, with a target fund size of $A100M. The multinational anchors value the rapid growth strategy of the fund: companies that are US similar, with attractive valuations, access to the very best deals, Japanese uplift, Asian uplift, and global exits. Exciting news from InterValley Ventures! We are thrilled to announce our recent investments in Umps, SeenCulture, Cyban Pty Ltd and a significant follow-on investment in Myriota. These additions bring a new level of differentiation to our fund within the Australian and Victorian ecosystem. At InterValley Ventures, we pride ourselves on our operational background and our ability to actively support founders. Our international capital has brought a new level of innovation to Australia, and our international DNA allows us to actively support our portfolio to grow internationally. We are known for our Japanese connections but also have a wide network in Europe and the USA. We are passionate about diversity, equality, and inclusion, and actively seek to invest in female founders. Our recent investments include support for one of the leading new female founders in Australia, Nikki Tugano, MAPPCP at SeenCulture, in addition to our existing female founder base. InterValley Ventures has actively supported essential parts of the ecosystem, including Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP), LaunchVic, Wade Institute of Entrepreneurship, Monash Generator, and The Startup Network. We believe these ecosystem participants are essential to a healthy startup environment for investors and founders alike. As we look to close our existing fund to new investments in early 2025 and concentrate on our new fund, we are actively seeking additional investments. Join us in supporting innovation and diversity in the Australian and Victorian startup ecosystem. #InterValleyVentures #startupinvestment #diversityandinclusion #femalefounders #innovation #investing Simon Wright Jun Hosoya
