Thanks to RAD Magazine for covering our collaboration with County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust and Annalise.ai, bringing a life-saving lung cancer detection tool to patients. Integrated through our RIS system, this AI-powered technology developed by Annalise.ai analyses chest X-rays and prioritises suspicious cases, enabling faster diagnoses and earlier intervention. With lung cancer the UK’s biggest cancer killer – responsible for nearly 35,000 deaths each year – early detection is critical to improving survival rates. This breakthrough doesn’t just accelerate diagnoses, it empowers clinicians to focus on the most urgent cases, ultimately saving lives across the region. As Dimitry Tran, co-founder and Deputy CEO at Annalise.ai, said: "This will unlock significant benefits for many more patients and clinicians alike." We are proud to be partnering with industry and healthcare providers in driving innovation in radiology and supporting better patient outcomes. Read more by follow the link in the comment below 👇

What an incredible experience at the European Congress of Radiology in Vienna! This year’s theme, Planet Radiology, set the stage for a congress that celebrated research, innovation, sustainability, and collaboration in radiology. Here are some of my key highlights: - Sustainability and Planetary Health: The opening ceremony, ‘Wonder’, was a visually stunning reminder of our collective responsibility to adopt greener practices. Emma Baines from the British Embassy delivered a powerful speech emphasizing international collaboration to tackle global health challenges. - Excellence in Radiology Innovation: It was a privilege to see the new evidence being presented about the impact of AI on Radiology practices and patient outcomes. Of particular note was Dr Rhidian Bramley presenting the positive impact Annalise.ai is having on the NOLCP at Greater Manchester, and Jack Packer presenting on the use of Annalise.ai to support a same-day CT workflow for suspected lung cancer, and the CO2 savings from reduced patient travel as a result. - AI Theatre: The AI Theatre was buzzing with engaging sessions, including discussions on the Quadruple Aims of AI in radiology. It was exciting to see how AI-powered solutions are transforming workflows and improving diagnostic accuracy. - Lung Cancer Screening: A recurring theme this year was lung cancer screening programs, with experts sharing advancements in AI integration and workflow optimisation. It’s encouraging to see global momentum toward expanding these life-saving initiatives. - Collaboration and Community: Beyond the sessions, reconnecting with colleagues and meeting new contacts was a highlight. The congress reinforced how collaboration across disciplines and borders is essential for driving progress in radiology. Congratulations to Prof. Andrea Rockall and the entire organising committee for delivering such a vibrant and impactful event. I’m leaving #ECR2025 full of ideas, inspiration, and a renewed commitment to advancing patient care while prioritising sustainability. #ECR2025 #PlanetRadiology #Sustainability #AIinRadiology #LungCancerScreening

  • When asked about how the Annalise.ai solution was performing for the Azienda ospedaliero-universitaria Sant'Andrea (University Hospital Sant'Andrea in Rome), Professor Andrea Laghi, Chairman, Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology shared: "We are always looking for ways to enhance patient care through innovation. With the installation of Annalise.ai solutions in our radiology and emergency care units, we’ve taken a significant step forward. After our recent go-live, what stood out was how seamlessly AI integrated into our workflow. It is non-intrusive and user-friendly, fitting naturally into our existing radiology systems without disrupting our processes. We have enhanced confidence that even the most subtle findings are localised for clinicians. With faster, more accurate interpretations, we are reinforcing our commitment to precision diagnostics. The future of radiology is here, and we need to use technology and innovation to empower us to make even better decisions for our patients." Discover the difference of Annalise.ai and our comprehensive and customisable AI solutions. Visit our experts at the #ECR2025 Expo in Foyer D, Position D-18, Near AI Theatre.
