Thank you to the nearly 150 attendees who joined us at the Wall Street Climate Forum for Young Professionals' event, ESG Investing 2.0: Seizing Opportunities in a Shifting U.S. Landscape — even with the snow! ❄️ Our panelists Matt Kuchtyak (Moody's Ratings), Ashley Cooke (HSBC), Shaheen Contractor, CFA (Bloomberg) and my dear friend and former colleague at the UN Erich Cripton (Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) shared key insights on ESG investing’s shift from risk mitigation to a driver of commercial value. The discussion highlighted the need for public-private collaboration, bridging data gaps, and the rise of adaptation finance for impactful change. The conversation continued over follow-up drinks – excited to keep it going! #ESG #ClimateFinance #Sustainability

Have you ever wondered what the next generation of financial leadership in climate action looks like? 🌍💡 Along with fellow #NYUCGA students (Jean Berthony Brutus, MBA and Angelica Nieto) I had the pleasure of diving deep into #climatefinance at the Wall Street Climate Forum for Young Professionals where esteemed financial leaders, bankers, and investors shared their insights. The discussion centered on ESG Investing 2.0: Seizing Opportunities in a Shifting U.S. Landscape, offering a fresh perspective on the evolving role of sustainable finance. Hearing from experts at Moody's Ratings, HSBC, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), and Bloomberg reinforced my belief that global leadership is actively investing in a more sustainable future for us all. A huge thank you to The New York Climate Exchange for organizing such an impactful experience!

When two worlds collide! Last night I had the pleasure to attend an event hosted by The New York Climate Exchange talking #climatefinance run by the Wall Street Climate Forum for Young Professionals. My dear friend, Sonja Neve helped put together the spotlight: ESG Investing 2.0: Seizing Opportunities in a Shifting U.S. Landscape. Overjoyed to have seen my colleague Shaheen Contractor, CFA moderate and Erich Cripton share his insights. In Stephen Hammer's closing remarks, he emphasized the importance of fostering the #climatefinance community, and I couldn't agree more. Look out for all of the other great events to come from NYCE. A special thank you to Emmanuel Jaquez for capturing the photo of my two worlds!

Energized by a great conversation and convening tonight hosted by The New York Climate Exchange of over 100 young #climatefinance professionals at the Wall Street Climate Forum; talking ESG Investing 2.0: Seizing Opportunities in a Shifting U.S. Landscape. Many thanks to panelists Matt Kuchtyak (Moody's Ratings), Ashley Cooke (HSBC), Erich Cripton (Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ)), and my former Bloomberg colleague Shaheen Contractor, CFA who moderated! Key themes that emerged-we need better and more consensus around key data and metrics for investors around #adaptation, #resilience & #biodiversity and more #publicprivatepartnerships to get finance flowing where it’s most needed. Follow Wall Street Climate Forum for Young Professionals, led by my amazing colleague Valérie Guillamo, for more in this space and to get involved!
