Women in Tech

As we celebrate International Women's Day, I'm reminded of my own journey in the technology sector, a path marked by ambition, challenges, and profound growth. Starting in tech in 2012, I was on an exhilarating ride, fueled by innovation and the fast pace of the industry. The road took unexpected turns with my marriage in 2015 and the birth of my child in 2017, challenging my ability to balance my personal and professional lives.

Balancing my roles required recalibration and resilience, but my commitment to my career never wavered. Understanding the necessity to evolve, I embraced the challenge head-on. After my baby was born, I recognized the need for growth and transformation. I pursued certifications and shifted focus to data science after becoming a mother.

This decision wasn't just about professional growth; it was about adapting to new life realities without sacrificing my career ambitions.

To my fellow women in tech, facing similar dilemmas, remember: "Growth often emerges from discomfort."

It's crucial to adapt, learn, and sometimes, pivot your focus based on life's phases. Your journey's uniqueness is your strength, not a limitation. Embrace your path with resilience and grace.

Support systems are invaluable—seek them out and lean on them.

Our collective progress in tech relies on sharing these stories of perseverance, encouraging each other to navigate our careers and personal lives with confidence and determination.
