Last week I told you about a strategy for fixing your broken content schedule—retreating.
If you missed it, the idea is that instead of trying to post for today and get ahead at the same time (which never works), you forget about today entirely and start writing stuff for six weeks from now.
This week I’m showing you what happened when we actually followed that advice ourselves at SBX.
Spoiler: It worked. Like, really worked.
So before we launched our podcast, our social presence was garbage. We were so busy helping clients get their shows out that our own marketing got left for dead. That meant we had no plan and no consistency.
Here's how bad it was: in the three months before the show launched, we posted 29 times. Total. Across all platforms.
Then we launched the show, treated ourselves like a client, and followed the same playbook we use with everyone else.

That's what happens when you commit to content. You create opportunity all the time. And that's why I like podcasting, because it's an easy and comfortable format for me to do it.
