Most people quit podcasting or content creation in general because they don’t think that they have the time. It's not true. Most people quit because they don't commit time. Here's what I mean: Pick at least one hour each week that’s just for your podcast, no matter what. I don't care what time of day. I don't care if it's a weekday or weekend. Just commit to it. Every week. Let's say Wednesdays at 9am for example.

This is now your time to plan, record, promote or generally improve your podcast. The more you commit to it, the better it will get. That's why setting time aside is literally the first thing to do on our 9 Steps to Launch Guide.

And if you don't commit, that's valuable too. If you keep booking appointments then or watching tv or just doing anything else...why? Are you not interested in the podcast anymore? Do you not think it's working? Does it feel like too much work? Being honest about why you give away that time is revealing.

This applies to other parts of your business too. For example, I have 9-10am blocked off on my calendar every day. I'm using that time exclusively for sales related work. Before I blocked the time off, I was all over the place. Now, I've been committed to that time and it's been a huge help.

So set time aside. You'll be better off.

And if you have a hard time managing your schedule or your podcast production, let's talk! You can set up a free strategy session here.
