This was a great listen, particularly around the transition between the Premier League and Championship. If we were inventing football tomorrow intuitively, the cliff edge/pot of gold, all or nothing approach is bad and encourages casino economics. But the that suggestion that the pot-of-gold leads to more investment and a seeming never ending amount of people and willingness to invest actually keeps Championship clubs going is different way of looking at it
