I have recently conducted an insightful Comparisonator interview with Think Ball & Sports Consulting President Marcelo Robalinho to delve into the evolving dynamics of football player agencies and team’s behaviours. Current Challenges for Clubs: Clubs are increasingly frustrated with receiving hundreds of generic player links from agencies. These submissions often lack robust data reports or meaningful comparisons and fail to align with the clubs’ specific needs. Consequently, many of these player links go unopened and ignored. Innovative Comparisonator Approach: ThinkBall has pioneered unique strategies to effectively address these challenges. By thoroughly researching and understanding the clubs they target, ThinkBall produces detailed, customized reports featuring the clubs' logos and identities. They also use virtual transfers to assess how their players would fit into target leagues, ensuring a tailored and relevant presentation. This method demonstrates precisely why a club should consider their players, making the sales process more efficient and impactful.
