What do you think about Politics?🤔💬 This came to my mind a few days back. I have noticed that when it comes to politics, particularly POLITICAL ENGAGEMENTS, a large number of us tend to ‘back off’🙅♀️🙅❌ My Question is “Why”? I am genuinely curious! 😳 ➖Is it because of the passed down notion about Politics being a dirty game? ➖Is it because of the bloodshed🩸involved sometimes? ➖ Is it because we just believe it’s only for a ‘few persons’? ➖ Or is it just because we just don’t want to participate?🤷🏽♀️ That is Apathy!❌ 📌When something begins to get political, we try to tone it down or we simply hands off! For me, I love politics and the dynamics within. I love the complexities involved. I find it intriguing!⭐️ I also believe, when wielded properly, is the major instrument for #PositiveChange What about you? Do you love politics? If you do, let’s connect😉

I want to give you some insight into how I think about politics. I have been a thinker for a very long time. This is what has served me well as a business guy and an engineer. When it comes to politics, the way that we collectively think about our government is warped. While this is okay, it will not serve our democratic-republic if we continue down this path. This article may help you with how you think about politics and how you interact with others on political topics. None of us, me included, do not have sole ownership of the TRUTH. So, it may help us to humbly consider other viewpoints. https://lnkd.in/g2nraQpu

Trigger Warning To those who say: “I used to follow you, until you started posting about politics.” I reply: “I used to care what you think, until you told me what I’m not ‘allowed’ to say.” When they say: “LinkedIn is not the place for political speech.” I say: “Evil relies on the weak to use ‘decorum’ to shame dissent.” When I’m told: “You should stick to media insights.” I reply: “When politicians stop using media to stage coups, I’ll stop writing about it.” When they tell me: “Your political posts make me feel uncomfortable.” I say: “If you live in this country in 2024, and you DON’T feel uncomfortable, it’s time to check your fucking privilege.” In 65 days, the country decides between a fascist and a leader; between chaos and progress; between political violence and the future of our country. If you are looking for a “safe space” from this debate, don’t look here. If you unfollow me because of this, that says far more about you than me. Years from now, future Americans will ask us what we did, right now. I prefer to say: “Everything I could.” Rather than: “I sat at my laptop and prodded a LinkedInfluencer to stop making silly posts about politics because it gave me bad feels.” https://lnkd.in/ekjahu5z

I’ve been thinking a lot about the way politics is heading. In my latest Substack post, I dive into the rise of populism and how it has changed the political landscape, forcing the left to rethink its approach. Join me as I explore the potential for a more grounded, leftist populism, one that speaks directly to the needs of regular people. I’d love to hear your thoughts! https://lnkd.in/g2jnRWDU
