In the world of politics, it's clear that things can change quickly and often. Politicians and parties try to use these times to push their agendas. They might make big promises, give speeches that get people riled up, and come up with short-term plans. But these tactics can only keep them popular for a while. The public isn't fooled, and the results of these actions are becoming more obvious. Another thing to remember is that in a political landscape where there are more and more extreme views, and where social networks and the media play a big part, it's much easier to see when politicians are making empty promises or when their alliances are weak. Voters are more attentive and critical than ever, and attempts to manipulate the news cycle are often seen through and criticised for what they are: superficial political games.
