So proud of this beautifully designed building we call home here in Slabtown - as an extension of Forest Park and a melding into all of the best elements of city life in Portland including incredible restaurants in every direction a block or two away. Thank you LEVER Architecture, Thomas Robinson + team!
Thesis, located in Portland, Oregon, is a 40,000-square-foot mass timber campus designed by LEVER for a digital creative agency. The project prioritizes collaboration and hybrid work, integrating “mid-door” spaces that bring nature indoors and connecting to nearby Forest Park. The space at the ground level supports gatherings and events, creating connections with the surrounding community. Constructed with Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) panels and glulam columns prefabricated by Timberlab, the building highlights regional materials and reflects a Pacific Northwest aesthetic. The LEED Gold design emphasizes sustainability with energy-efficient systems, ample daylight, and on-site solar panels. It's amazing what a difference the right environment can make. When a space is set up to inspire creativity and make people feel truly welcome, it becomes so much easier to do great work. When you feel proud of where you are, that pride shows in everything you create. It’s a cycle that fuels itself.
I've walked past this building and leaned up my eyes against the window like a kid looking into a candy store.
Beautiful building! Especially the fitness center! 😉
