Isn’t it brilliant how Google knows everything about you...but the second you log in from a new device it’s like, “WHO ARE YOU?!” 😂 Oh sure, Google, you know my exact location, remind me of appointments I didn’t even know I had, and can predict my next online purchase with terrifying accuracy. But the second I log in from a new device? “WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU WANT?!” It's like, thanks for the warm welcome, Google. I thought we were close. But no, apparently switching from my laptop to my phone is suspicious behavior worthy of a full-blown investigation. Sarcasm aside, that extra skepticism is what keeps our data safe. If Google’s treating you like an imposter, it’s doing its job right. So yeah, stay paranoid, stay protected! #Google #Cybersecurity #CybersecurityAwareness #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth #SMB #CybersecurityTips

This is what 90% of us tell Google on a daily basis while storing so much information on Google Drive and Doc. ••> Imagine the possibility of Google Drive being hacked. ••> It will be terrible,Why? ••> Because of the kind of information stored in it 😄😄. I talked to a friend recently about where I can save my documents without fear, The next thing he told me was that I should use Google drive. He boldly told me that Google Drive is so safe that he can even hide his bank code and deepest secret in it. I jokingly told him about the possibilities of Google being hacked and he said with boldness. “I trust Google”.. We all trust Google to the extent of hiding even our nude pictures and secret information on the cloud’s drive. But No one is asking the question, “What if Google gets hacked.”? “It is not possible odogwu” ,that will be your bold reply right? 🎤 But have you asked yourself the big question, what has Google done to deserve this trust from half of the world’s population? Microsoft is looking to move on from 1+bn passwords and get going with passkeys. What are they? On one hand, this is a great choice (a few associates working for a few huge MNCs in China have this applied across the board) because it raises the cybersecurity. On the other hand, this can be cumbersome to apply in China and other countries or expensive for small and medium entities. Let's see how the Seattle IT giant pulls it off. ps: if you're having issues with MFA in China, feel free to reach out to us. We're used to this issue and we can support your China team. There's always a legal IT solution in China.

🗞️RESEARCHER DISCOVERS #BUG ALLOWING MICROSOFT EMAIL #SPOOFING Vsevolod Kokorin, a security researcher, identified a #securityflaw that allows anyone to impersonate Microsoft corporate email accounts, enhancing the credibility of #phishing attacks and increasing the likelihood of deceiving recipients. 📧 As of now, this vulnerability remains unpatched. To illustrate the issue, Kokorin sent an email to the tech news website #TechCrunch that looked exactly like one from an official #Microsoft account. Kokorin, who is also known online as #Slonser, announced on X (formerly Twitter) last week that he had discovered the bug and reported it to Microsoft. However, the tech giant dismissed his report, claiming they were unable to replicate his findings. This led Kokorin to publicly disclose the bug on X, though he withheld technical details that could facilitate exploitation. 🗨️"Microsoft just said they couldn’t reproduce it without providing any details," Kokorin explained to TechCrunch. "Microsoft might have noticed my tweet because a few hours ago they reopened one of my reports that I had submitted several months ago" he added. Kokorin stated that the bug is effective only when sending emails to #Outlook accounts, which, anyway, means a potential user base of at least 400 million worldwide, according to Microsoft’s report. Kokorin last contacted Microsoft about the issue on June 15. 🗨️“I did not expect my post to get such a reaction. Honestly, I just wanted to share my frustration because this situation made me sad,” Kokorin said to TechCrunch. “Many people misunderstood me and think that I want money or something like that. In reality, I just want companies not to ignore researchers and to be more friendly when you try to help them”. It remains unclear whether anyone else has discovered the bug or if it has been exploited maliciously. While the potential threat posed by this bug is currently unknown, Microsoft has faced multiple #securityissues in recent years, leading to investigations by U.S. federal regulators and congressional lawmakers. Recently, Microsoft president Brad Smith testified in a House hearing after Chinese hackers stole a cache of U.S. federal government emails from Microsoft's servers in 2023. During the hearing, Smith committed to enhancing the company’s focus on #cybersecurity. Source: TechCrunch Link in the comments #yourdatayoursuccess
