🚛 The Road to Zero-Emission Trucks: Are We Ready? As states across the U.S. set aggressive emission reduction goals for the trucking industry, a major challenge is emerging: the lack of infrastructure to support zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs). By 2035, 40% of new heavy-duty trucks in states like Washington, New York, and California must be zero-emission. Yet, the infrastructure to support this rapid transition is lagging behind, risking disruption to the logistics industry and broader economy. The West Coast Truck Charging and Fueling Corridor Project is a step in the right direction, aiming to create a 2,500-mile network of charging and hydrogen stations. However, the road ahead is still full of obstacles, from grid capacity issues to the need for thousands more charging stations nationwide. As we push for a cleaner future, it's clear that the infrastructure must catch up to meet these ambitious targets. Without it, the path to zero-emission trucking could hit a dead end. #Logistics #ZeroEmission #Trucking #Sustainability #Infrastructure #CleanEnergy
