I’m thrilled to share that Ali Alexander and I secured first place in SEKOIN (Sepekan Kompetisi Investasi) 2024 by Capital Market Community Polines! In this competition, we presented an analysis of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) (XIDX), recommending a BUY with a 12-month target price of Rp11,900.00, suggesting a 17% potential increase from the closing price of Rp10,170.00 on September 15, 2024. Our recommendation was based on a weighted blended valuation, including equity cash flow, multiple valuation, and relative valuation. BCA has demonstrated impressive financial performance, leading the top 4 banks in Indonesia in terms of profit growth for 2024. With a net profit of Rp24.2 trillion in 1H2024, up 34% YoY, BCA outperformed BRI, Mandiri, and BNI. BCA’s continued success is attributed to strong asset growth, especially in consumer and investment credit, digital transformation, and effective risk management. This competition was a valuable learning experience for both of us as we encountered new challenges along the way. "Surviving is an art". The third phase of being in the Officer Development Program (ODP) of PT. BANK NEGARA INDONESIA (Persero) Tbk. is the IST Small Credit Experience. So far, I could say this is the toughest part of this long journey. This phase is where we exactly experience being part of the Business Team. Throughout this program, while also learning about the Credit Process Flow and PAK Process Flow, I presented one of the debtor's credit application which I was involved in the making process as the evaluation and assessment part of this phase. At some point, I tried to study those processes from the perspective of a "Business Process pov" due to my previous experiences, so at first I doubted the results I would get at the end of the phase. Because I'm trying to find crucial points where these processes could be optimized in the future. Turns out, the result was outstanding. With that being said, I learned that I know nothing about surpassing others. I only know how to outdo myself. And I'm very proud that I survived! #ODPBNI #Melompatlebihtinggi
