The 3rd day at Connected Vehicle Systems Alliance (COVESA) - #AMM meeting in #Gothenburg has come to a close and with that the conference has concluded. My overall conclusions after this event is that, even though the automotive comunity has been discussing for a long time about #SDV and deep vehicle conectivity - there are concrete steps that are being taken towards this goal. Actions like the VSS(vehicle signals specification), or steps taken towards open source software modules are the right steps with #COVESA, Eclipse Software Defined Vehicle, AUTOSAR alliances putting their weight behind this with the actions towards open source amd data handling, but much work is needed, especially in making software development more efficient, simple, structured and multi- purpose.
