This week's #Fridaylongevitypoll — Celebrating Intergenerational Holidays! Have you ever wished you could spend more time with your grandparents, grandchildren, or other family members of different ages? You're not alone! A recent poll by easyJet holidays of 2,000 British adults revealed that more than half (56%) regret not spending enough time with their grandparents. Furthermore, 54% hope to include them in future holiday plans. The desire to connect across generations is clear. 59% of respondents expressed a wish to spend more time with the older generations in their family, and 57% want to create cherished holiday memories with their grandparents.  Interestingly, 77% of those surveyed believe that the bond between grandparents and grandchildren is one of the most special within a family. I did a little digging the other day—not for the traditional holidays, but for those fun little daily celebrations we sometimes miss! So, I pulled together a list of holidays to celebrate through the rest of the year, and I thought it’d be fun to share. Are you ready? Let’s kick this off! Sunday, October 13, 2024, has not one, not two, but three celebrations! First up: National Train Your Brain Day —time to give those neurons a workout! Next, we have National No Bra Day… Ladies, I’m guessing this one might be a popular choice. And finally, it's International Day for Failure. Now, before you think, "Failure? That sounds negative," let's flip the script. Failure can actually be awesome! Why? Because we learn and grow from it. If you’re not failing, are you really pushing yourself?
