I posted this as a comment and had 7 people ask me for it, so for my network, here ya go. I have been able to exceed quota every month by doing the following: Tracking all activity and doing the math to see how many calls and emails are required to hit my goal. Activity is the ONLY thing you can control as a BDR (quality + quantity). Track every call dialed, answered, and every meeting booked from a call, every email sent, opened, replied, and meetings booked from an email. 1)Call-connect rate (shows my how strong your data integrity is & if you need to improve your prospecting + allows A/B testing to see what times of day are best to call) 2)Connects-meeting rate (shows your effectiveness on phone and allows you to A/B test objection handles and openers) 3)Call-meeting rate (can work backwards from your meeting goal to see exactly how many calls I need to make per day / per month to hit your goal) Being able to see your metrics takes the stress off of hitting your numbers and allows you to see everything as inputs (things you can control). I've included the spreadsheet I put together with all the formulas already inputted so you too can up your game! Teal, Huntr, Swooped, and the newest one I've come across Prentus... I've got a suggestion for a new job search tool to save job seekers a ton of time. I've been sending follow-up messages for the past 2 hours on 16 applications I submitted last week... and I still have 7 more to go 😩 There has got to be an easier automated way to send follow-up messages to recruiters and the hiring team. There should be a way to connect your LinkedIn account to the system... and this new tool could then configure follow-up messages that can be automatically sent to recruiters with a button click. I could send these messages in half the time! A quick LinkedIn search will tell you the recruiters who work for a specific company. If I could select which ones to send messages to, draft a tailored message, and send it through your platform **chef's kiss** 💋 I haven't invested in any job-searching tool yet as funds are pretty low right now, but if I could afford to pick one, the tool that would allow me to complete my follow-ups in less time would win the bid. Job searching is not fun. Or at least for most people. Especially the research phase of the job search. Which is why most people skip it all together. They go straight to the job boards and start applying to roles online. You get a dopamine hit when you click APPLY. Adding a cell to your Excel spreadsheet doesn't get the same satisfaction.
