As we have reached the end of our fiscal year, it’s a perfect time to reflect on our journey using the “Roses 🌹, Thorns🌵, Buds 🌱” method. This approach has been instrumental in our team, allowing us to celebrate successes, identify areas for growth, and acknowledge the challenges we’ve faced. Here’s a look back at my personal highlights and learnings from the past year. 🌹 Roses: Celebrating the Highs One of the most significant highlights for me this fiscal year was being accepted into the SCHOTT leadership program, Horizon 1. This achievement came after the required year-end evaluation, nomination, and an external interview process. It’s an opportunity to further develop my leadership skills and contribute more effectively to our organization. 🌱 Buds: Areas for Potential Growth Looking ahead, I still see potential in expanding the value of Sales Excellence (SE) within our organization. We are more than just pricing experts; our role encompasses a broader spectrum that can significantly impact the company’s success. We as a team agreed to communicate our value proposition more effectively. 🌵 Thorns: Acknowledging the Challenges This year also brought its share of challenges. One key thorn was the realization of the limitations within our system. Despite our best efforts and intentions to drive change, we also encountered systemic barriers that hindered progress. Looking forward to develop buds and thorns into possible roses in the new fiscal year!

As one of the newest members of our leadership team, Nancy Cloutier brings over 20 years of experience leading strategic collaboration in the healthcare, B2B manufacturing, and banking industries. To Nancy, the secret to a great Customer Experience is simplicity, and she explains that simplicity is created through three factors: clarity, emotional connection, and consistency. Nancy is committed to continually learning and growing. “To do my job, I must be continually learning – not only so I can work effectively with my team, but also so I can collaborate with our clients to help identify challenges and develop solutions.” The team’s success is a key motivator to Nancy. She says that the one thing that always brings her joy is seeing the team succeed. “If the team is successful, I’m successful… and more importantly, we are successful.” To learn more about Nancy, what drives her, and how she and her team impact the CXT work we do for our clients, check out https://hubs.li/Q02-L0fM0.

Happy Boss day! After a nice needed vacation, I returned to the office receiving praise and appreciation for contributions. However, I always enjoy highlighting that Operations is never a one man show. It’s a collaborative effort with a team. This picture does not depict “bosses.” Rather, it showcases a group of leaders who innovatively lead our individual teams toward success, daily, to best serve dealer and credit union partners. We couldn’t do it without the help of our Director & leadership team at GSFSGroup. Here are the 4 Operations Managers. 1. Contact Center, Jackie Perez. 2. Business Processing, Dee Szkody 3. Business Analysis, Hua Truong. 4. Sales & Account Services, myself. Thank you for all that you do.

As a leader, it's essential to be willing to extend beyond expectations in supporting your team members if you anticipate them to exceed their duties for the organization.
