Here are my thoughts of Deepseek and its usage. Look majority of the people have been playing around with ChatGPT, and let's just assume they don't pay so the free version is ChatGPT-4o. Now they directly took a massive leap to Deepseek R1 which is comparable to the likes of o1 and o3. Obviously people are going to feel that "ChatGPT" moment. That gap is real. What are your thoughts?

Is ChatGPT4o making everyone excited? Not me At least !! It just seems like something to pressure Google just before I/O and nothing else. or maybe I am missing something here :D Since the launch of Sora, I've noticed that OpenAI uses the best videos for demonstrations - many of us realize this. like sal khan solving math problem with his son using Gpt4o So, I tested it with a math problem. Math problem!! "Helen and Ivan had the same number of coins. Helen had a number of 50-cent coins, and 64 20-cent coins. These coins had a mass of 1.134kg. Ivan had a number of 50-cent coins and 104 20-cent coins. (a) Who has more money in coins and by how much?" What did I find? 1. You cannot see the screen and audio chat together. For Khan Academy videos, you can see the math problem being solved, but I'm still figuring out how that happened on the ChatGPT app (so I think reading text is better for math problems at least). 2. Solution part a. Once it was way off the answer. b. The audio bot gave the answer in an equation, not even in a number. c. The third time, it got the answer right. Yeah, exciting times ahead. Maybe a next level of SIRI is here. So again, how is it different from just adding a voice for now, which we already anticipate? Finally! ChatGPT now has Projects to help organise the chaos of open chats 🎉. Having used it a bit already it's a little different to what I was hoping for. It isn't a folder type structure for grouping chats, it is more of a middle-ground between creating a GPT and a new chat. When you create a project you can give it context (docs, instructions) and then prompt it. I find this useful because the memory function in ChatGPT rapidly fills up, and also it is shared across all chats so the Projects option allows us to give more specific context to a conversation outside the one-size-fits-all memory #ChatGPT #AItools #Productivity
