Can I be real a second? This is why you’re feeling anxious this Christmas… With all the festive meals and celebrations, it’s easy to feel anxious about your progress. Here’s a hard truth: a little weight gain over Christmas is NORMAL—and it doesn’t mean you’ve failed. What if you surrendered to the fact that this season might come with some changes on the scale—and instead focused on enjoying the holidays without guilt? With the right tools and support, you CAN navigate this time of year, feel good in the moment, and confidently hit your goals in the new year. When you let go of the pressure to “stay perfect,” you free yourself from anxiety, fear, and judgment. That’s when you truly enjoy the holidays while making realistic choices that honor your goals and your values. Here’s how my clients find peace and balance in the holiday season: ✨ Accept that small fluctuations are part of life—and they don’t define their long term progress. ✨ Give themselves permission to enjoy without obsessing. ✨ Trust that with the right plan, they feel ready to hit the ground running in January. To help you do this, I’ve created 2 powerful tools to eliminate guilt, fear, and overwhelm: 💡 Traffic Light Your Social Life: My signature system to help you balance indulgence with intention—so you can enjoy the festive season without feeling deprived or going overboard. 💡 Vision Planning Masterclass: A game-changing session to set aligned, realistic goals for 2025 that fit your life—so you can make real progress without burnout. These tools work because they focus on balance, not extremes. Just like: 🌟 Sherelle, who enjoyed last Christmas without guilt and felt confident starting the new year. 🌟 Sophie, who created realistic goals in the Vision Planning Masterclass and made incredible strides, no January crash required. 💥 Special Bonus: Enquire before Christmas to get both tools FREE! That’s a guilt-free holiday season and a powerful head start for 2025. So the holidays are officially behind us 📅 But should we let their spirit fade with the smells and lights of the festive season? Of course not. I ask because many of us dive into January with fresh intentions, only to see them drift away as our daily routines kick back into life. But what if we carried the best parts of the season forward, beyond the decorations and bubbling glühwein? For example, here are a few simple but powerful practices I relished during the holidays—and which I will consciously carve out time for in 2025: ☕ Refilling my cup: Taking quiet moments for myself or letting go of the pressure to always be “on.” Self-care should be sustainable, not seasonal. 🎁 Staying present: Giving my full attention to loved ones—and myself—helped me appreciate the depth of connection over the hustle of “getting things done.” Why should this mindset end on January 2nd? 💗 Reflecting on purpose: Making time to reconnect with the parts of my work that inspire me the most. This reflection and clarity shouldn’t be an EOY event, either, because turning dreams into plans is an ongoing *process* The holidays may feel like a pause, but they’re also a reminder of what truly matters. If you also believe in moments that deserve to be carried into the new year, tell me what you think they are. What part of the holiday spirit do you want to keep alive in 2025? 👇 Share your reflections below—I’d love to hear! #leadership #selfcare #professionalcloseness #newyear2025 #mindset #worklifebalance #leadershipcoaching #executivecoaching #personalleadership Time To Grow Global The Power of Professional Closeness Talent Scanner

Another big year almost over and I’ve been taking some much-needed time to slow down, enjoy family moments, and soak up the magic that is the 'festive season'. I find this time of year brings an unusual combination of chaos and kindness that I quite enjoy. There's smiles, there's running about, but we're all headed in the same direction - trying to wind down & take care of ourselves whilst thinking of other people, aiming to take care of them... all at the same time. It grounds me in the normality of it all and for me, it becomes a natural time to pause and appreciate the people and moments that truly matter to me. This Christmas, I’ve loved the chance to really be present with my family – no rushing, no multitasking, just connecting. And as the New Year approaches, I’m swapping work shoes for hiking boots and bathers; heading camping to recharge, reflect, and reset. 😍 👏 If there’s one thought I’m carrying into 2024, it’s this: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. I hope you’ve found a moment to pause and breathe this Christmas season. Here’s to a year ahead filled with clarity, connection, and intentional growth. Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful festive season and a powerful start to 2024! 🎉 What’s one word you’re taking into the New Year? Mine is FLOW. As we approach the festive season and the end of 2024, LinkedIn fills with ‘year wrap-ups’. Reflecting on my own experiences, one consistent feeling stands out: this year was an emotional rollercoaster. I faced significant personal challenges in my business, questioning myself, feeling constantly stressed, almost losing my sense of self. Rather than listing achievements, my biggest lesson for 2024 is: 'Taking Time Off: A Rare but Essential Reset.' Last week, I took some time off, an infrequent occurrence for me, especially over the last nine years. It’s easy to become engrossed in daily responsibilities, neglect the essential breaks and opportunities to step back to take a broader view. In September, I posted sharing SEP2's participation in 4gust https://lnkd.in/e5cPUPJE and its impact on mental health, emphasising the importance of self-care and acknowledging the hardships related to maintaining personal well-being. Last week, I travelled for a friend’s birthday celebrations and combined the break with some skiing. For me, navigating down a mountain as an inexperienced skier serves as an effective method to disconnect entirely from daily routines. This break underscored the significance of preserving mental health and overall well-being. It provided an opportunity to recharge, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters: myself and my family. I gained clarity in my thoughts and feel a renewed energy for upcoming challenges. In my professional life, I often prioritise productivity over self-care, but burn out compromises’ productivity, effectiveness and happiness. I accept that taking time for myself is not merely beneficial but essential for both the health of me and my business. I encourage everyone to allocate time for themselves before it is too late, even if like me, such opportunities are rare. Your mental health is on par with your business objectives if you are to achieve them. With this time off and a few days over the Christmas period, I’m feeling like my old self, with a wiser perspective. With all this said, SEP2 has had another fantastic year of business growth, and it’s difficult to convey the intense pride I feel for the people at SEP2 who grow year on year with it. I’m looking forward to closing off 2024 and embracing an exciting 2025 realising what a privilege it is to observe the growth of the business and its people from my unique vantage point. #MentalHealthMatters #WorkLifeBalance #SelfCare
