So the holidays are officially behind us 📅 But should we let their spirit fade with the smells and lights of the festive season? Of course not. I ask because many of us dive into January with fresh intentions, only to see them drift away as our daily routines kick back into life. But what if we carried the best parts of the season forward, beyond the decorations and bubbling glühwein? For example, here are a few simple but powerful practices I relished during the holidays—and which I will consciously carve out time for in 2025: ☕ Refilling my cup: Taking quiet moments for myself or letting go of the pressure to always be “on.” Self-care should be sustainable, not seasonal. 🎁 Staying present: Giving my full attention to loved ones—and myself—helped me appreciate the depth of connection over the hustle of “getting things done.” Why should this mindset end on January 2nd? 💗 Reflecting on purpose: Making time to reconnect with the parts of my work that inspire me the most. This reflection and clarity shouldn’t be an EOY event, either, because turning dreams into plans is an ongoing *process* The holidays may feel like a pause, but they’re also a reminder of what truly matters. If you also believe in moments that deserve to be carried into the new year, tell me what you think they are. What part of the holiday spirit do you want to keep alive in 2025? 👇 Share your reflections below—I’d love to hear! #leadership #selfcare #professionalcloseness #newyear2025 #mindset #worklifebalance #leadershipcoaching #executivecoaching #personalleadership Time To Grow Global The Power of Professional Closeness Talent Scanner

Hey everyone!🤍 It’s been a few days since I last posted here. During the Christmas holidays, I decided to hit the pause button and take a much-needed break.🌲☃️ It was refreshing—a chance to breathe, recharge, and enjoy the simple joys of life. We’re always chasing deadlines, sharing insights, and talking about growth, but let’s pause for a moment and talk about taking breaks. As the year winds down, it’s the perfect time to reflect, unwind, and give yourself the gift of self-care. Here’s your reminder to slow down and embrace the holiday spirit. A few fun ways to indulge in self-care: 💟 Have a cozy day with your favorite comfort food and movies: Let your mind wander to a world of fiction while you savor your favorites. 💟 Reconnect with nature: Trust me this one is my favourite! A simple walk in a park or just watching the sunset can work wonders for your soul. 💟 Detox from screens: Swap your work emails for a journal, doodles, or a spontaneous creative activity—it’s liberating! With every ending, there’s always a better beginning waiting for us. So, what’s your call for taking a break and recharging before the new year begins? Let me know—I’d love to hear how you’re slowing down to prepare for an even better 2025! #SelfCareSeason #YearEndReflections #HolidayRecharge #WorkLifeBalance #NewBeginnings

🙋 Anyone else feel the rush into Christmas kicking in? Here’s the thing… When the holidays come around, you need more than just a few days off work to recover. To feel at your best, you need to rest. The kind of deep rest I’m talking about is more than just not showing up at the office for a while. I do get it - It can feel hard to switch off and give yourself permission to power-down your planning/work mind. But it’s an essential part of long term high performance. When we give ourselves time to fully rest and recover it allows our Parasympathetic Nervous System time to kick in. This rest & digest state allows the body to go fully into healing and recovery mode. The more time you spend in this state of deep rest and recovery, the more the benefits start to stack up for your short and long term health. I know this is something I have personally been giving a lot of conscious thought to throughout this year. == Try this: With even a few minutes of prior thought and planning you can multiply the positive effects of taking time off. In the run up to the holidays, I’ve been helping people make actionable plans to access deep rest, recharge their energy and strengthen their resilience. People often tell me they have found this Deep Rest toolkit a useful starting place. A way to prompt their own thinking and ideas, helping them to write a personal plan for deep rest in their own holiday. Please feel free to Share/Repost it if you enjoy it, and think others will find it useful too.
