What does National Ag Day mean to Hone Ag? It’s a day to celebrate and honour the incredible Aussie farmers and workers who form the backbone of our food system. These hardworking individuals show up every day to ensure food reaches tables across the nation. They’re here for us, and today we remind them that we’re here for them—backed by Aussie AgTech and the support of all Australians. #growyougoodthing

Open Markets' longstanding newsletter on corporate power in the food system, authored by Claire Kelloway, is now on Substack. Want to understand how large corporations and unfair competition that goes unchecked in agriculture, groceries, and all of the middlemen in between impact the quality and cost of what we eat? The Food & Power newsletter is coming to Substack! The Open Markets Institute created the Food & Power website and newsletter in 2016 as a first-of-its-kind publication providing original reporting, resources, and research on monopoly power and economic concentration in the food system. We’re excited to share our work on Substack to engage new audiences and better shine a light on corporate control over farming and food production. Check out our introductory post for more details and subscribe to get stories in your inbox every other Thursday!
