⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Michele V. 11/18/2019, PA From start to finish, Dawn, Jessica, Billy, and the team have been very responsive and professional. During the weeks leading up to the event, I was in constant contact with Jessica and she helped me navigate the contract and payment side. I spoke with Dawn a few days before the event to get a summary of how everything will go and talk out our needs. She was very friendly and accommodating to anything we needed. On the day of the event, we were met with Billy and he was super friendly and professional. While this wasn't any type of black-tie affair, Billy and the dealers were all dressed to impress and they did just that! Our guests have had nothing but great things to say about their experience at our event. I want to personally thank the Elite team and will definitely recommend them to everyone. Very impressed! Thank you!

September, Rembrandt van Wine record month! 💥 Coming out of summer, with people planning for the colder and more rainy months we were of course hoping to break some records this month. But, being just an 8-month old business, how could we possibly know? Well, now we know! 27 Days into the month and we are already at: - Double the ticket sale revenue compared to August - 30+ events planned for October & November - More private event requests than we can possibly handle (and a painful amount of no’s from our side because people want to visit when we are fully booked..) Now let's keep working to make this record month the new reality for the months after as well. Except for all those no’s, we need to find another solution for that. Anyone a good idea?

I've thought about posting this for ages. I held back because of some old school belief that LinkedIn "is (only) about work". So how about this: you've got a practice of experienced and talented consultants. But they're all playing their own version of the song you want your customers to hear. The way they collaborate with customers, they way they scope and estimate work, they way the position and sell solutions. Every single IT services leader I've spoken with over the last year (lots) cheerfully admits that if three of their presales team scoped the same piece of work for the same customer, the variability would be significant. I reckon this is why RFx loss rates are 60% (and that's an average) and why the most common reason for lost bids is pricing. It's a lottery every time. Apparently this is ok ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ To raise the bar in your IT services practice, play the song together. Build process and consistency to drive quality and results. Happy Friday - enjoy this perfect example of experienced and talented people working together to produce something amazing. https://lnkd.in/gHpE2TYF

It's hard to discuss. No one wants to think about it, but its essential. Do you have a plan for your estate? In January, we learned about the passing of Kobe Bryant. His tragic death opened the door to some pretty serious legal battles. Comerica’s Lisa Featherngill, Steven Zamenski and Andrea Bruce talk about how to prepare for the unexpected : https://bit.ly/3R6xgpy #Comerica #ComericaWealthManagement

Genius isn’t about knowing everything It’s about having fun and doing things differently. That’s exactly what I bring to sales: no pressure, no pushiness—just natural, effective conversations. Legen-dary.... I recieved this mug after we had transitioned from one management company to another. If you would have asked me if I thought a revenue manager sent that to me, I'd laugh for hours.... 2017 I started my role at The Craftsman as the Director of Sales and Marketing. I had my own ideas on how we should grow. Jennifer Olesen had her ideas. Two forces colliding on revenue calls each week. Two people trying to get the other to comply with theirs. Honestly, Jen was an amazing revenue manager and I was blinded from past experiences. We would get into it about rates and contracts daily. I can only imagine the words that may have been said after the calls either in the office or to ownership. Something eventually changed... Jen and I one day clicked. I didn't see her as an obstacle or feel like I needed to defend myself. I never did. I was so use to playing defense (especially in sports, was my favorite). She grew me as a person. I grew the company. We happend to be at a conference together when we recieved one of the best reports this hotel has ever seen for an index achieved (for those not in sales, ill spare you. We destroyed our competitors that week). We celebrated together. I still remember her coming to the table and whispering "Bobby, did you see the star report?" In 2019 I recieved the DOS of the year award. My VP was sitting next to me. The next person I hugged and thanked was Jen. Two tables away. The journey we made in the two years would change the landscape of the Craftsman. Jen was a big part of my professional journey. So this mug here, was a gift from Jen when our company split and she moved on. I am unsure if she meant I was the legend or if she was in this statement. I prefer to think of the later. When two people are at differences and come out the other side understanding each other and knowing each has incredible value, that is some growth. Growth creates growth. Thanks Jen. #everyonehasvalue #pointsofview #livingproof #legendsneverdie

We do our best to have an impressive booth at every show we go to. You should see all our grabber blue Cascade Trader flags! And the big baskets of candy we bring! But we just can’t compare ourselves with the huge, multinational companies next to us. And we don’t have to. In the long run, it’s all about the quality of your product and how you treat people, not how cool you look. Even without all the fanciest decorations, the customers that come around to visit us are best in show. ⭐️ #tradeshow #smallbusiness #familybusiness #heavyequipment #dealership #smallbusinesstips

Insight for those sales people (I was in it for 20 years so I understand the excitement) that celebrate with the deals they just won by announcing the closing and how much revenue it generated, stop it. You have just publicly turned your customer into a KPI. The relationship you built, the time spent strategizing, the hours of collaboration, well you belittled it, whether you know or not. Your customers have LinkedIn too and they can read. Celebrating a partnership is different than celebrating your income.

OASIS+ Small Business Awards Delayed From GSA's OASIS+ Interact Page-- GSA’s Office of Professional Services and Human Capital Categories (PSHC) has delayed the award of the OASIS+ Small Business contracts as a result of protests filed in response to the apparent awardee announcements posted on SAM.GOV and the unsuccessful offeror notifications issued on July 30, 2024. As stated in the Agency’s announcement on July 30, contract awards and Notices to Proceed (NTP) were scheduled to be issued on or around August 12, 2024. However, as a result of the protests, the contract awards/NTP dates are delayed (31 U.S.C. § 3553). We hope to resolve the protests quickly and will share updates as soon as we are able. Putting OASIS+ in place is of the utmost importance to our customers and industry partners, and we are committed to making awards as soon as possible. Further updates and next steps will be communicated through SAM. gov and the OASIS+ Interact Community page. https://lnkd.in/erRu2ENg
