A few months ago, I tested flexible ads right after their launch. I wasn't too satisfied with the results 🙃 But for Black Friday, I decided to give flexible ads another chance. This time, I paired them with AS+ Shopping and ran an A/B test in different ad accounts in different sectors and niches. Here’s what I did: 🟢 Created an AS+ Shopping campaign 🟢 Used 1–2 flexible ads per campaign. 🟢 Each ad contained 10 creatives and 1–3 ad groups. 🟢 A/B tested these campaigns with a traditional setup in different ad accounts. The results? Game-changing. Across different accounts, they outperformed the traditional setup. Some campaigns saw up to 50% better performance. Why it worked? AS+ Shopping is excellent at targeting lower-funnel audiences, while flexible ads adapt dynamically to each prospect, maximizing relevance. Together, they create a powerful combo for high-sales periods like Black Friday or Christmas. I plan to test it outside of promotional periods as well to see if the results hold up.
