Responsibilities:
Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Actively prospect and generate new leads, build a strong pipeline, and convert them into long-term clients within the packaging industry.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships.
Sales Strategy and Execution: Create and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, monitor KPIs, and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, new packaging technologies, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiate Half Price Packaging in the marketplace.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the design, marketing, and production teams to ensure client needs are met with high-quality packaging solutions and timely delivery.
Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract finalization with potential clients to secure profitable business.
Client Support and Feedback: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients post-sale, ensuring their ongoing needs are met and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the packaging industry or related field.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of packaging materials, trends, and production processes.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in generating leads, securing new clients, and meeting sales targets in a competitive market.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively and present complex ideas clearly.
Relationship-Building: Ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders at various organizational levels.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales and reporting software.
Education: A degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging, or a related field is preferred.
