Dear Colleagues, Mast cell activation disorders (MCAD) are both under- and misdiagnosed, and the true incidence and prevalence around the world is unknown. The present study, an initiative of the World Allergy Organization, aims to understand how MCAD is being managed around the world and to identify unmet needs. We are conducting a final round of survey completion for one more month, which has already been completed by 300 colleagues. If you have already filled it out, please do not do so again. You are invited to participate in this study completely anonymously if you are a specialist or under training in clinical immunology and allergy. We would appreciate it if you could take approximately 15 minutes to help us map out the current landscape of MCAD management worldwide. The questionnaire consists of three short modules: one on general information, one on systemic mastocytosis, and another addressing mast cell activation syndrome. It has been created using SurveyMonkey and can be accessed via the link or QR code below. You may receive this invitation from more than one medical association of immunologists and allergists. Kindly complete the survey only once and ensure your responses are in English. Thank you very much for your participation, which will help advance knowledge and ultimately help patients with MCAD. Click Here to Take the Survey: https://lnkd.in/dqZnE3-d Thank you to those who have already completed the survey! Your feedback is sincerely appreciated and will greatly help us advance our knowledge and understanding about how MCAD is being managed around the world and to identify unmet needs. Sincerely, The WAO Mast Cell Disorders Committee info@worldallergy.org
