I'm Los Angeles to the core, but The "O" will always be home. This past week, the NBA scheduled back-to-back games for the squad in Oklahoma City. Extra time in the city that welcome my family and I, with the fans that continue to show unconditional love, was amazing. With some additional time on the road (not always the case!), I had the opportunity to join an incredible panel featuring Echo's Christian Kanady, Warwick Investment Group's Kate Richard and Koch Industries' Chase Koch to discuss the dynamic growth of Oklahoma City. Amongst the topics discussed were the exciting investments happening in the region, including those from Russell Westbrook Enterprises and Echo Investment Group. Our anchor investments span sports, entertainment and also extend to biomedical science. Honored to sit amongst such strong leaders and investors, and couldn't be more proud of the work we're doing in Oklahoma City. I truly believe this community will be a hub of growth, opportunity and innovation in the years to come.

Thrilled at this great next step to build the Oklahoma technology base and a huge step forward for biotechnology ecosystem in OKC. Wheeler Bio, Inc. has leased approximately 60,000 sq feet in the Convergence OKC facility to expand our scientific and mammalian cell culture/antibody therapeutic manufacturing capabilities. Congratulations to Robinson Park and the OKC Innovation District !

2024 was quite a year! I have been at Wheeler Bio, Inc. for approximately ninety days and it feels like I joined the team yesterday. I am extremely impressed with the Wheeler team and their passion for science and for collaborating with innovative partners throughout the biopharmaceutical industry. Wheeler has completed a significant amount of foundational scientific work that supports our Modular CMC approach that enables rapid transition from gene to stable pools to delivering toxicology material and, in parallel, clone selection, to master and working cell banks to cGMP release of Phase 1 product. We are eager to partner with innovative biotechnology companies to rapidly advance antibody-based therapies beginning from a gene or if you have an immediate need for clinical manufacturing, we can support your program.
