How does olive oil 🫒 impact climate change and public health? #WatsonProject had the incredible opportunity to participate in the 𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗶𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 in Heraklion, Crete! This prestigious event brought together experts from 15 countries to explore olive oil's role in wellness, sustainability and innovation. 🔬 Our partner Nicolò Cultrera (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche) showcased how DNA technologies can preserve biodiversity in food systems, emphasising their critical role in the olive oil industry. 🤝 Collaboration continued beyond the event, as Nicolò visited our partners from BioCoS to push forward Watson’s olive oil use case progress.
