Exciting Opportunity for Pittsburgh-Area Businesses! 👀 Today, in partnership with the National Football League (NFL) and the Pittsburgh Steelers at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center, we announced the official opening of applications for the 2026 NFL Draft Source Program.   As Pittsburgh prepares to host the 2026 NFL Draft from April 23-25, 2026, this program will connect local businesses with subcontracting opportunities to support one of the NFL’s premier events. A wide range of industries are needed, including catering, event production, security, signage, and many more.   📅 Applications are open now through May 7, 2025. Selected businesses will be notified by the end of June. This is a tremendous opportunity for Pittsburgh-area businesses to gain national exposure and be part of a historic event. SportsPITTSBURGH Vice President of Sports Events Jim Britt discussed an exciting line-up of sports events coming into the region, Andrew Ortale & Amber Harkleroad with VisitPITTSBURGH discussed the multi-county outreach to the motorcoach market. Sean McCurdy, GTP, CTE, CCTE reviewed vital tourism legislation.
