Congratulations to our portfolio company Superpower on their Series A led by Forerunner! What used to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, Superpower is transforming into an accessible, everyday product—bringing concierge-level care to consumers at scale. Jacob Peters, Max Marchione, and Kevin Unkrich are true visionaries—building the first true health super app at the intersection of medicine, longevity, and proactive care. Their mission: to make staying healthy simpler, more affordable, and more human. At Visible, we believe the future of healthcare lies in products that are deeply personal, data-informed, and built around the individual—not the system. We’re proud to continue supporting Superpower as they lead this shift and unlock a new era of lifelong care.

  • We’re thrilled to share our investment in Poolhouse to bring competitive socializing to the next generation. As consumer spending continues to shift from products to experiences, Poolhouse is tapping into the growing demand for real-life connection and community. By blending sport, design, and culture, they’re redefining what it means to spend time offline—and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.

  • Gen Z women want to invest and build wealth early— but current platforms weren’t built with them in mind. Alinea Invest is changing that. With 92% of users identifying as women and 70% from Gen Z (average age: 22), Alinea Invest has quickly built one of the most loyal—and overlooked—investor communities in all of fintech. As co-founders Anam Lakhani and Eve Halimi put it: “We are the customer. What we realized is that beginner investors want both guidance and freedom. They want to be told what to do, but they also want autonomy. At Alinea, we call it the salad and the fries.” Visible Ventures is proud to join this exceptional team in their Series A as they redefine what wealth-building looks like for the next generation. #FutureOfWealth #FemaleFounders #FinancialEducation #VisibleVentures #VentureCapital #VC #AlineaInvest

  • This week, the HumanX conference set a new standard for AI-focused discussions—and our Partner Yuriy Dovzhansky was there to experience it firsthand. This brand-new conference brought together some of the most influential voices in AI, policy, and venture to address the real challenges and opportunities AI presents today. With a sharp focus on trust & safety, job security, and regulation, HumanX made it clear that the future of AI isn’t something to speculate on—it’s already here, and the decisions being made now will shape industries for years to come. Leaders like OpenAI’s CPO Kevin Weil, Anthropic’s CPO Mike Krieger, and former VP Kamala Harris took the stage, offering bold insights on how AI can be both transformative and responsible. One key theme stood out: AI’s success depends on public trust, and collaboration across tech, government, and investors will be critical in determining how it evolves. With founders, policymakers, and investors aligning on what’s next, it’s clear this is just the beginning. AI is advancing rapidly, and those engaged today will be the ones shaping its future. #AI #HumanXConference #HumanX #VisibleVentures #VentureCapital #VC

Congratulations to two of our brilliant founders, Madhavi Gavini and Rathi Srinivas, for being named to the 2025 Inc. Female Founders 500. Madhavi and Rathi, both PhDs, didn’t start in skincare—they started in science, tackling some of the most complex challenges in therapeutic drug development and delivery, including obtaining orphan drug status for a pediatric cardiomyopathy treatment. But their breakthrough didn’t stop in the lab. By applying advanced fluid physics and knot theory, they cracked a problem that had long frustrated the medical field - how to transport active ingredients deep into the skin barrier. Droplette unlocks the full potential of cutting-edge skincare ingredients formulated to work synergistically. Harnessing the power of pharmaceutical-grade ingredients, the duo have developed proprietary formulations designed with a multi-targeted approach to combine immediate benefits with longer-term cellular repair. The results, remarkably, are both instant and cumulative. Through this breakthrough in skincare technology, formulations are delivered via hydromist technology to ensure ingredients penetrate deeply, up to 90% more effectively than traditional topical applications. We’re proud to back founders whose vision, persistence, and scientific expertise have not only built a groundbreaking product - they’ve redefined what’s possible in skincare. #IncFemaleFounders500 #Droplette #VisibleVentures #SuttonaCapital #Innovation #WomenInSTEM #FoundersWhoBuild

  • When women claim their seat at the table, they don’t just change the conversation—they change the future. Last night, an incredible group of thought leaders gathered around this table with a shared purpose: to harness the power of capital and put investment decisions into the hands of more women, ensuring resources flow into the female founders, innovators, and changemakers shaping the next generation. In collaboration with Women Moving Millions, we explored how purpose-driven investing fuels the companies solving our biggest challenges—advancing healthcare, closing wealth gaps, driving sustainability, and reshaping industries to better serve all of us. The message was clear—women have the power to build industries, drive innovation, and create more equitable opportunities for all. The time is now. Let’s meet this moment together. #VisibleVentures #WomenMovingMillions #WomenInVC #WomenInvesting #ImpactInvesting #VentureCapital

  • We are excited to have you join the team Emily Cole!

Athlete | Author | Associate at Visible Ventures

I’m incredibly excited to announce that I’m starting a new role as an Associate at Visible Ventures ! As a former Division One athlete at Duke, I saw firsthand how training protocols designed for men fail to account for the needs of female athletes. Majoring in computer science with a minor in economics gave me a data-driven perspective on this issue, and I’ve spent years thinking about how we can bridge this gap. With advances in AI and machine learning, I believe we’re on the verge of a breakthrough. Research-backed, personalized tools are emerging to help women reach their full performance potential—especially in areas like nutrition, overtraining, menstrual cycle effects on performance, and maintaining muscle mass and strength as we age. Earlier this year, I met Lori Cashman, founder and Managing Partner of Visible (and a fellow Duke alum). We immediately connected over the challenges female athletes face—and how businesses are missing a massive opportunity by overlooking the unique consumer experience of women. At a time when women hold significant purchasing power, addressing their needs is not only smart business, it’s the right thing to do. This ethos is what drew me to Visible Ventures. Visible backs transformative founders—often from the earliest stages—who recognize challenges and opportunities that others overlook. From physical and mental health to financial access and education, Visible is investing in the innovators who are redefining industries and building solutions that truly reflect the experiences of women and underserved consumers. In this role, I’ll be helping source new investment opportunities, support portfolio companies, and grow the firm’s overall brand—while continuing to train with the goal of pursuing professional track and field in the coming years. If you’re a founder working in women’s sports, fan engagement, athletic performance, mental wellness, financial services, or adjacent spaces, let’s connect! Excited for what’s ahead and deeply grateful for everyone who has been a part of this journey. Thank you for being here! #VisibleVentures #WomenInVC #DukeAlumni #HealthTech #Fintech #WomensSports #VentureCapital #AI #Longevity

  • Congratulations Kirin Sinha, we are excited for Illumix's future!

    Founder, CEO at Illumix

I’m thrilled to share this thoughtful feature from Inc. Magazine on Illumix’s journey and our vision for the future of augmented reality. When we launched in 2017, we squatted in an unused office and said yes to every meeting. Within weeks, our approach led to a licensing deal with a major game franchise (thanks to a chance conversation in a studio lobby). That early momentum helped prove our core technology and set the stage for something much bigger than games alone. Today, Illumix exists to be the “interaction engine” for real-world venues, providing spatial intelligence that connects the digital world to physical experiences from theme parks to stadiums to live events. In the upcoming years, phones will be supplemented or even replaced by head-up glasses, and all content will have a digital-physical element. Illumix is the company providing the pipes for any real-world venue to tap into these digital layers. It is a future with more presence and personalization, allowing us to become active participants in our world and its experiences. If you’d like to learn more about our twists and turns, our broader mission, and where we see AR headed next, check out the full Inc. piece (link in comments). Excited for what’s to come, and thank you Rebecca Deczynski and Inc. Magazine for sharing our story!
