  • The right support can change everything. For Grayce member Jane, caregiving isn’t just about logistics—it’s about finding the right resources, the right guidance, and sometimes, the right person to help navigate it all. Her Care Partner became that person. With a social work background and a deep understanding of Jane’s journey, she became a trusted sounding board—researching behavioral interventions, finding vetted articles, and most recently, uncovering inclusive social activities. One of those activities? A drama program that Jane’s son is now thrilled to start next month. This is what real support looks like. Not just assistance, but partnership—helping employees manage family care while staying engaged at work and in life. • The weight of caregiving isn’t just logistical—it’s emotional. Jane, a Grayce member, was once asked what advice she’d give to parents just learning their child is neurodivergent. Her answer? Make space for yourself. Between navigating new diagnoses, therapies, and school meetings, it’s easy for personal time to disappear. But Jane has a non-negotiable: a monthly date with her partner. No cancellations, no rescheduling—because staying connected is just as vital as any other part of the journey. At Grayce, we know that family care responsibilities don't exist in a vacuum. They touch every part of life—including work. That’s why we help employees manage family care without losing themselves in the process. • When Jane first received her son’s neurodivergence diagnosis, fear and uncertainty took over. She found herself reacting to each new challenge, trying to balance the overwhelming responsibilities of caregiving with the need to stay connected to herself. The weight of being a caregiver took up so much space that Jane struggled to remember who she was before—someone who had passions, hobbies, and dreams outside of her caregiving role. “It’s a real struggle for caregivers. If you have hobbies or interests, make sure you still pursue them. A caregiver is a part of who you are, but it’s not 100% of who you are." In her latest Grayce Chapters conversation with Kassidee Kipp, Jane opens up about how she learned to navigate this journey by staying true to herself—finding balance and support along the way: https://lnkd.in/g37d4WKb #Grayce #GrayceChapters #FamilyCare

  • Caregiving can be a challenging and isolating experience for your employees—but it doesn’t have to be. As an HR leader, you can play a pivotal role in supporting your workforce by integrating family care support groups into your benefits programs. These groups offer employees a chance to connect with others who understand the unique stress, guilt, and isolation caregiving can bring. Here’s why these support groups are crucial: - Emotional & mental health support: Employees who connect with peers in similar situations can alleviate stress and improve overall well-being. - Reducing isolation: Caregivers often feel alone, even in a bustling workplace. Support groups provide a network to combat this loneliness and foster connections. - Stronger together: Employees gain valuable insights from fellow caregivers on how to manage caregiving responsibilities, helping them stay focused and engaged at work. At Grayce, we’re proud to offer our Gather Community—a supportive space where employees can connect, share experiences, and find strength in their caregiving journeys. • When Jane’s son was diagnosed with autism at three years old, she found herself in unfamiliar territory. It was a challenging time—one filled with uncertainty, isolation, and the struggle to find the right support. While friends and family wanted to help, they didn’t always understand what she was going through. Unexpectedly, Jane found comfort in the voices of those she didn’t know—parents who had walked a similar path, who understood the highs and lows, the overwhelming questions, and the need for community. That’s what ultimately led her to Grayce. “I really wish there was a platform where people could come together—not just based on a common diagnosis or illness, but as a support system to centralize all this information.” Now, with Grayce, Jane not only has the guidance she once longed for—she’s also found a way to give back. Connecting with others who have been through it before has been incredibly rewarding. In the latest episode of Grayce Chapters, Jane sat down with our Co-Founder, Kassidee Kipp, to share how finding the right support changed her journey—and how she’s now giving back to others navigating similar challenges: https://lnkd.in/g37d4WKb #Grayce #GrayceChapters #FamilyCare

  • The sandwich generation is growing—and so is its impact on your workforce. With Millennials entering their 40s, many are balancing work while caring for both their aging parents and young children. - 57% of employees managing family care responsibilities report clinically significant stress, anxiety, and depression. - 45% take multiple days off each month for caregiving. - Poor benefit utilization and lack of equitable support are leading to higher attrition. Businesses can’t afford to ignore this shift. Supporting employees like Sarah—who juggles a full-time job and 30+ hours of family care each week—requires solutions that go beyond traditional benefits. Read our latest blog to understand the impact of the sandwich generation and how companies can mitigate risks while driving retention and productivity: https://lnkd.in/gDNtvwFx #Grayce #SandwichGeneration #FamilyCare
